So i just read an article and im SMH it gets better by the minute!

One of the things Stansberry mentions is a probable new wealth tax of 10% on EVERYTHING we own, plus nationalizing 401k and pension plans! A while back I had heard the Obama administration realized that USA 401k and pension plans total values were close to the national debt, so that could be a way to save the country from bankruptcy while everyone will have an opportunity to pay his/her fair share to help bail out the country –apparent Socialism in action! Here we go – again – bailing out

Porter Stansberry is a fraud and his whole shtick is a part of his latest scam. He's been pitching his latest "dire warning" to sell his crap for at least 3 years. He was found to guilty of fraud and fined in the past.

I'm sure that's just the "man" trying to shut him down but emailing your readers and telling them that you'll give them some insider information for $1000 doesn't sound very f'ing legitimate to me.

EDIT:

Some of you may be familiar with "The End of America" video that has been around for a few years. That's Porter Stansberry.

I'm sure that while Americans will fight to the death to avoid this, is it not the American people who have for too long been living beyond their means that caused the whole sorry mess in the first place?

Sounds to me like a day of reckoning for their hedonistic lifestyle may be on the horizon.

PS American folk, I'm. Not singling out individuals here, but as a collective you let this happen

Catherine Frompovich is not a reliable source. She writes very opinionated pieces for an "investigative journalist", and makes money citing junk science for here anti-vaccine books and sites.
Furthermore, Porter Stansberry is a known crook & stock hype man that makes money with false news for a living.

Before you believe anything that either one of these two have to say seriously, I would do some research. People like these pair disgust me. They love the conspiracy crowd (the ignorant portion at least). They find plenty of believers with confirmation bias that do not fact check what they are spewing, and then they pick their pockets.

Besides being a questionable source for your info. If the government even tried to do any of this. They'd better revoke every single U.S. passport at the same time. The exodus out of this country would break the floodgates.

Lest we forget to mention that it would be an impossible task to "tax" everything I own. How are they suppose to do that ? Door to door ? Come in and count how many TV's I have..."don't forget the one in the bathroom". They do not have enough employees to run the IRS now to accomplish their mission much the ability to hire and take on additional people to go door to door and tax everything.

Everyone needs to calm down and quit pointing fingers at the other side when there is only one side...the government is working together...its not Obama and it wasn't Bush...it is the whole bunch that wants to get to one end control, power, and more cash. They disagree how to get there but not where they are going.

If the Obama administration is intent on pulling something like this...he had better hurry as he really does not have the time to do it left. The source is not reliable and neither is the information. I must disagree.

Wall Street already took most of my 401K in 2009...and much of the value of my house, so 10% doesn't sound so bad. Shrugs.

Let me guess at the end of his "new book" does he beg people to with draw all there money and buy gold because the world is over as we know it

Makes you wonder... if he's already been convicted of fraud and wants your money for special inside secrets, why is anyone giving him the time of day...we all know pension isn't even near enough to pay off US debt lol

My god, not the trees, too! Oh, the humanity! (I'm kidding, you might want to check your spelling of Cyprus, the country)

Unless I'm mistaken, along with other posters, isn't this guy generally considered a snake-oil salesman? How is anything he says being taken seriously with his track record?

I see what Stansberry and Frompovich did there. They main point FATCA which is real and then add in their own doom porn about a possible 10% wealth tax on everyone and scalping of the 401k plans.

Exactly there is no way peoples 401's and pension plans have rebounded enough to be anywhere close to the national debt. Besides the debt is more than money in circulation that is the way our system is designed. Never ending debt and no way to totally pay it off.

Because he is complaining about the current administration.

I think Stansbury is pretty right on as far as what is coming, it's just that his timing has been WAY off. And yes, I agree, if you are charging that much money for your "inside information", then your motives are just as bad as the people he is supposedly wanting to warn us about.
