Pentagon: Army to review controversial ban on twists, other natural hairstyles

With Afghan. now winding down, the military is getting back to the "garrison mentality". Where worrying about such important matters as hair twists, tattoo's, clothing policy at the commissary/PX, etc, are the hot plate issues.

Yeah. It looks like they learned so much about racial and cultural tolerance over there, that they decided to bring some of it home.

They can tolerate people wearing scarfs and hijabs, but a military person wearing a different headband, or braids is unacceptable.

Go figure.

No I think the opposite, make everyone wear huge multi coloured (that is the right spelling auto spell) afro wigs both sides of course then no one will ever fight again.
Could you shoot someone in a 3 foot tall rainbow afro wig?.
