Just "because" Harry Reid "says" he got mail doesn't mean he got "mail".

This wouldn't be the first time a government "official" used official capacity and official resources to further an agenda.

I might be going out on a limb here, but if he quit calling Americans liars and domestic terrorists he would probably not get as much hate mail. That would be my guess.

This is blasphemous to insinuate that a long standing respectable congressman of Harry's stature would lie. If he can send hundreds of BLM agents to intimidate Bundy, surely he could find a few good men to protect his home. From what little I know about politics, it is typically men and women that oppose the establishment that are in harm's way. By this metric, I suspect that Dirty Harry is extremely secure.
