Kerry: U.S. Taped Moscow’s Calls to Its Ukraine Spies

Whether the recordings are genuine or not only the US and Russians know. BUT there is no point in the US saying it is true if the Russians know it's not. That merely hands Putin a propaganda ace. If true Putin will deny it publically BUT privately, and this is the important bit, he knows we know, he knows all the European leaders will know. He knows the chinese (potential oil buyers) will know. This is very very bad for Putin.

This isn't about ATS (sorry for spoiling the party), this is about playing politics without nuking each other. Surely that is what we want. The Russian economy is in meltdown and Putin is getting desperate. The pressure is ramping up.

How do we really know their economy is dying. There is no word or people screaming about food and shelter and basic needs. The people seem to be quiet. I would think if the economy is in that bad of shape, we would hear more from the people affected. The rich loosing money and whining does not mean the economy is in dire straits. Once the people start rioting because of food shortages then we can know the economy is bad.

Now this is what these high tech listening stations should be used for. They should have never started listening to everyone's private calls.

Anyone who thinks the U.S. is making this up needs to go to YouTube and watch the Vice channels whole series on Ukraine and see how the Russians are causing all the violence with not one piece of evidence of this so called excuse by Russia that Right Sector is attacking anyone.

You will see a Russian Army commander in plain police clothes admit who he really is when he forcefully takes over the local police station in eastern Ukraine. Obviously they did not know they were being filmed lol.
