Watch out south texas, spc has you in moderate risk zone for severe weather outbreak that includes tornadoes. Who would of guessed snow last week tornadoes this week. A shortwave will cross south texas witha negative tilt which is the optimum position for a very dangerous storm. Discreat rotating super cells will be possible ahead of the associated cold front. Im going to say it now i believe long track tornadoes will be possible and fully expect the nws to become more robust with there wording. Be safe im on a cell cant post links maube someone else can.

"Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for the Greater Toronto Area, including Toronto, and other parts of southern Ontario, on Monday.

The warning also covers Orangeville, Oshawa, Hamilton, Niagara, and parts of eastern Ontario.

A cold front could bring wind speeds of 60-70 km/h, the weather agency said, with gusts of up to 90-100 km/h in some areas.

The winds, which may cause tree damage, power outages, and difficult driving conditions, are expected to start on Monday afternoon and last late into the night, and then ease off by Tuesday morning.

Colder air could also bring about lake-effect snow on Monday night, with snowsqualls possible east of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay on Tuesday, the weather agency said.

The roller-coaster weather also led to record-breaking temperatures.

At around 12:05 p.m., the temperature hit 18 C at Pearson International Airport, beating the old record of 15 C set in 1946.

The average high for this time of year is 5 C.

Environment Canada said temperature in some areas, like Cornwall, could hit the upper teens.

However, the mild temperatures are not going to be hang around for long. The high for Tuesday is expected to be 3 C and then drop to -1 C by Friday.

Heavy rain overnight led to some localized flooding and road closures throughout southern Ontario on Monday morning.

For those traveling in the East this Thanksgiving.

Snowstorm to Create Thanksgiving Travel Nightmare in East

A storm with rain and heavy snow will cause major disruptions and delays for Thanksgiving travel on the East Coast and in the Appalachians.

According to AccuWeather Chief Meteorologist Elliot Abrams, "In most cases, the worst time to travel in the mid-Atlantic and New England due to the storm will be on Wednesday and Wednesday night."

"The best time to travel will be Tuesday and Tuesday night in these same areas, with the next best time on Thanksgiving Day."

Rain will initially spread northward along the Interstate-95 with snow and rain to start farther west in the I-81 corridor. However, a change to snow will take place from west to east from northern Virginia to New England.

The storm will bring mostly snow to the I-81 swath in Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania, I-84 in southeastern New York state, as well as much of interior New England, where a general 6-12 inches of snow are forecast.
