That night

I can't believe its been 8 years
Since that awful night.
The night our world turned upside down
The night that changed our life

The night we had to make a choice
Few parents have to make
The night we had to let you go
And live with our mistake

The night that always takes me back
And makes me start to cry
The night burned in my memory
Until the day I die

In loving memory of my son Tyler
Here for a day
Loved for a lifetime
