How does this thing always know what I'm thinking?! It's amazing!

Oh yeah, make sure you follow the directions exactly:

Pick any 2 digit number (52)
Add the 2 digits (5+2=7)
Subtract that total from the original number (52-7=45)
Look at the symbol for 45 and click the globe

I'm dumbfounded by this thing.

I've wondered myself, and how about the one that has you guess which card you/re thinking about and it always is right.

Actually the card trick was just an illusion. None of the cards from the first set were in the second set.

I've tried this seventeen times so far and it has yet to get any of mine correct.. But then again some average people think the same numbers often and its just a program. Designed to get attention!
Glad you enjoyed it

The number always adds up to a factor of nine if you look closely all the factors of nine are the same symbol. Its actually quite simple

Are you sure you followed the directions right? It always guessed wrong until I found out I was doing it incorrectly.

The symbol distribution changes every time. Hit try again, look at number 9 and hit the ball. Do it again.

9, 18, 27, 36,45, 50, 51, 54, 63, 72, 80, 81 whatever symbol matches these numbers is the symbol that appears in the crystal ball. My guess is that this series of numbers covers all the possible combinations of adding two digits and subtracting the result from the original number.

A mathematician would probably have a more precise answer.

Edit: oops... that series is not static. But the number 9 seems to be.

Thug: The icons for the numbers change every time, so I'm not so sure about your factor of 9 theory.... this is really strange.

no, it is based upon the amount of time it takes and factors of nine. If you choose something like the number two, and then wait for a long time. the symbol will most likely be different. Try it multiple times if it is correct the first time.

I figured it out I think!

It shows the picture of whichever number you had your mouse on last!

Yes, there always is a pattern. Nice find though. Go to www.puffun.com.

It's not authentic. I tried every number, and they all came up with the same symbol.

So there you have it folks: our internet is rigged.

Let me clarify -

If you put your mouse on 22
then it will give the picture from 18. (2+2 = 4, 22-4=18)

That's only because every number in the list will give the same symbol, every time, nomatter what.

Yes, because...

99-18=81
98-17=81
97-16=81

and so on throughout the list. As one number decreases, so does the other leaving the result the same.

I knew that they all came to the same symbol, but how they did was the real question, and you answered it for me. I can sleep easily tonight, all thanks to you.

my brother and i figured this one out a LOOONNG time ago thanks to boredom and childish minds! =D yeah its obvious once you figure it out: its a simple equation=

every ninth number is the same symbol becuase they're the only answers you can get(unless you did the math wrong)

now i don't know about this one for sure but i know the one i tried did exactly that: use a simple equation!!!!!! =D
