Everything depends how the system is run. In US the main problem I personally see is the for-profit companies inbetween, who are inflating the prices to extremities, which leads to very high costs of services, which leads to higher national debt. - See more at: www.abovetopsecret.com...
No single 'for profit' private insurance company has that many. That rightly BELONGS in the private sector.
Because it destroys jobs, destroys wealth, and is no where near capable of funding itself.
