That's a pretty good shaker!

When I saw that Puget Sound had a couple of three's today, I thought something might be coming down the pike!

I'm betting there will be another quake somewhere closer to Washington in a short time. Just seems right.

My parents felt it. They are on the north tip of vancouver island. They said it lasted longer than previous earthquakes they have felt there. This epicentre was very close to land. A lot of the quakes around the north tip of van island are a bit further out in the water. 5.0 and 4.2 aftershocks have happened, but my parents didn't feel them.

Just guessing - no education, here - I bet the baja of california gets a HUGE one next.

Stay safe, everyone - hope nothing horrible happens.

Seattle and Puget Sound have been having minor quakes ( 1-3 mag) for over a week. Yakima/Tri cities area, too. They could very well be fore shocks to a more major settling.
Southern Idaho has been chiming in after a long sleep, and now Montana.
The quakes are moving up the coast and leaving the L.A. area alone.

Alaska quakes seem to be increasing in magnitude.
I hope this quake released enough pressure to settle things down.

My daughter is in abbey, didn't feel it.
My sister lives on the island, didn't feel it
I didn't feel it, close to abbey, across the Fraser river
My sons friend in Vancouver felt his building sway on the 34th floor. That's how I found out about it.
Had to call my family on the island to be sure they were ok.

My cats are acting normal. So were my sisters on the island,

No word on any damage , just stuff falling off shelves

Most are saying it was a swaying motion, not jerking. Lasted about 20-30 seconds.

We heard a big roaring noise a little bit ago. I don't know if that is related, or we just happened to have military jets flying slowly overhead.

Ok on the news some are saying their animals went nuts before it. My sister said cats were normal. Mine were too.
