info on "shadow people"

i dont know much about them... okay, i dont know anything about them. although, i have had an expereince with what i beleive is a "shadow person". any info would be nice.

well i was in my bed watching tv not really tired at all and (of course) i just saw a shadow about three feet tall run across the tv fairly quickly. it couldnt of been something behind me because my bed is right infront of a wall.

it didnt look much like that... must have been something else but i know it wasnt a person because it just doesnt add up. it had me sweating under my covers.
