Sup Brahs

I'm the Ouroboros21. I've lurked ATS since about 2008 but never cared to create an account to say anything because I never had anything worth saying. So, that begs the question, "Why create an account now?" And here's my answer, because I may have a thing or two worth saying (Insert most common Lao Tzu quote on those who know).
And speaking of Lao Tzu brings me to the next thing, I live in China. But I'm not Chinese, I'm American. I do, however, speak, read and write an advanced business level of Mandarin Chinese (So if anyone needs some small translations done or even Chinese homework help or tutoring, just send me a PM).

You'll find me peeking through every forum at ATS, but I'll probably be found most of the time in Paranormal Studies, Philosophy & Metaphysics, Religion Faith & Theology, Political Issues and Secret Societies.

I hope to engage in construction and friendly conversations with all of you here on ATS!

Since you offered I am sure many on these boards would greatly appreciate some translations of Chinese (any region of course) mythology or historical accounts.

And I would be happy to help with what I could granted I have the time. However, I guess I should note that I only know simplified and traditional Chinese characters. Any further back I wouldn't be of any use and would be as clueless as anyone who doesn't know a single character.

Nothing that I'm aware of. The only Chinese forums I have been on and seen are forums that are city, regional and provincial forums hosted by the cities or provinces they're in.
But they're not much fun, just postings and discussion of local events or job postings. Basically they serve as community news.

There are many sites that China isn't aware about though, and therefore not blocked. I think if China knew about ATS it might be blocked. For example, (just an example... haha) porn is illegal in China, all major porn websites are blocked, however, they missed a few and miss all lesser known sites.

The reason I said China might not block ATS is because accessing news sites in China has really improved. This is last week I was able to access every foreign news media site I wanted to and it wasn't edited from the original content in anyway. Which made me very happy nonetheless.
It seems internet censorship is getting much better under their current president who is also doing a great job curbing corruption in general, which I find the two very much related.
