See post above yours.

The one where you repeated the phrase "Gay Agenda".

Yes! With the word extreme in front.

It is their extreme agendas that paint with a broad brush. Not me.

And yet, those with an "extreme gay agenda" do not represent the entire LGBT community. I would pretty much equate those people with Westboro compared to any other church.

Can you please elaborate on what an extreme gay is? Is that like a gay base jumper? Lesbian free climbers?

How bizarre. I know quite a few gay people, and have been to parties and other celebrations with gay people - and I have never seen anything like you have described. Maybe I just hang out with a classier group of gays than you do? I tend to hang out with classier people, period.

There are trashy people everywhere, no matter the sexual orientation, or race, or religion. The fact that gays are fighting for marriage equality has NOTHING to do with trashy gay people. Just like blacks fighting for equality has nothing to do with trashy black people. Or Christians fighting for religious freedom has anything to do with trashy Christians. There is nothing wrong with fighting for equality or freedom. Don't mix trashy people with a just cause.

They make good people look bad.

Some people are unable to differentiate. Some will assume that they are all the same.

Well I can assure you that no militant extreme gays agenda has anything to do with me or anyone else I know. Perhaps you can enlighten me and others in this thread who are members of this extreme "Gay Agenda".

To put this in perspective, making such statements as yours would be the same as me and fellow LGBT members on ATS tarnishing all Christians with the actions of the "Extreme Homophobic" teachings of the Westboro Church.

There are extreme members to every community such as the KKK, Westboro Church, Neo Nazis, white supremacist etc. does not mean every white person should be tarnished with the same brush, which is exactly what you are doing with your comments.

And they are the ones getting all the attention. Nobody cares about the people that aren't out there trying to shove some agenda down everyone's throats.

If you need me to enlighten you, then that fact alone highlights the problem.

It is what it is. You can see it, or ignore it. Your choice.

Why is it that whenever bigots want to appear to not be bigots but still want to same something bigoted they fall back on the ol "I can't be a bigot, I have a friend!" (or relative) as though anyone ever buys that?

What you mean is that you have no facts to back up your statement of "Extreme Gay Agenda"

A wise man once said "if you don't know what your talking about, say nothing. Better to appear stupid than prove it out right"

When somebody sees something that doesn't exist, it's not everyone else's problem that is being highlighted. I think what's really going on here is that you're experiencing some uncomfortable feelings and you're projecting on other people to avoiding dealing with your own hang ups.

I get what you are saying, the title is misleading but I get it. Double standards suck. I'm Mexican American and customers always start talking to me in Spanish, I tell them to learn the English language. They tell me I'm a bad Mexican, that I should only speak Spanish to them. If a white person said that to one of my customers, watch out everyone! Because I am the same color as them it's ok. Double standards are everywhere in daily life. If you don't like it, speak up to the staff.

A few tables over were two women, supposedly celebrating their marriage, making out. I'm not talking about just kissing, I'm talking hands up skirts, bared breasts, the whole works.

Do you know how I know you're gay?

There is not uncomfortable truth as there is no "Extreme Gay Agenda" and this is proven by the fact that you can give not one example for your theory.
