You're right, to be honest. It'd be nice if they could treat us with dignity
the standard one walks past, is the standard one settles for..
(and what did kane supposedly say, "..am i my brothers keeper?")
mamatus understands;
Why would you expect people at those places to treat you better than you treat you?
(again, am i my brothers keeper?)
the standard one walks past, is the standard one settles for
i don't quite know what makes this Del Taco place so special (we don't have it out here, not that i ever buy fast food), but if it's anything in
the same vein as these
soulless companies like walmart and starbucks, that's all i need to know.. snarky's post indicates to me that these
'soulless' people (simple burger slingers) will commit credit-card fraud on the customers (how else do you get charged $4000 for a burger)
I'm also really good at picking up on vibes.
i believe you when you type this, it probably served you well while you were in that Del Taco place
look at the encodings in FlyersFan's comment (secondary from big bang theory)
Big Bang Theory has referenced it. They make it sound like it's a heart burn nightmare waiting to happen and that the only reason
people go there is because they are out partying and drunk.
-heart burn (destruction of seat of emotions, caring, etc)
-nightmare (it speaks for itself)
-people out partying and drunk (they don't care for themselves)
it all comes back to these standards, walking past them, and having some "official" outlet there to make a few bucks as we all go to hell in a
handbasket (this is happening all across the board, not just with fast food)
i'm wondering... what happens when pop culture finally eats itself?
you said,
I think it's true. Why do we have to accept sub-standard treatment as the norm? I really do feel like that guy from Falling Down,
sometimes.
but that's just the thing... we don't HAVE to accept any of this
the standard one walks past, is the standard one settles for
it's all part of the "programming"
sorry to rant a bit, but it really is this simple
(thanks again for making the topic, i can use all this as a valuable reference link)
