I hate to say this because it's an Egypt thread, but my first impression (I'm not given to pareidolia as much as other people for some reason) is that it's a graph of a mathematical function on the order of a Mandelbrot set of some sort. Ignore the faces and look at the outline.

it does seem to have something that "resonates" with me on some strange level,

This is the answer, I think. The picture in the article shows the opening sans the symmetry. I have no idea why the director of the video added the symmetry. I would just chalk it up to a bad director with "goofy" ideas.

those are the same shaft, the picture you linked to is from a later date,
it looks like something has been used to "cover over" the original,
you can still see it under the material that has been added

I've done a quick look around and I can't find it right now. I don't really remember throwing it out, so I'm hoping it's still around. If it is I'll definitely copy it and share.

I went to their site in hoping to find something there but haven't so far. I'll keep you posted.

the art work has been seen by others "before" it was covered up.

i knew i had seen it before......

im going to get "early" pictures of this area for study,
if it has been printed before we can show that the later photos show someone has spread something
over top the art, and i think the first photo caputure is from much earlyer than the more recent photos
from the "hawas" site you linked

The image has been mirrored! Look at the dark patch going up the right hand side, it matches perfectly with the edge of the shaft opening, At that point it has been mirrored again.

It's not weird, the same effect can be seen on the other side too! Look at the features on the edge of the opening then at the semertical pattern at the left of the pic. Perfect match!

I've looked every where for it, I'm afraid it probably got tossed. My son remembers me showing it to him. The reason it got my attention had nothing to do with the Young Republicans, but because I connected it to the gatherings at the Bohemian Grove, I thought it reminded me of statues of Baal and the bottom face also reminded me of Greenman. I just found it strange that this would be used in a political publication.

If I should ever come across it, I'll PM you with a pic.

i count four lines of symetry,

two to the left and two to the right


interesting indeed.

i remember reading that inside the grand gallery,
hawas had people "stain" the walls with red dye,

and the "repaired" damage with mortar and cement.

i wonder what "repair" work was done here?

no its a picture from the wall,
inside the queens chamber,
beside the "air shafts"

there is some conjecture weather the video has been doctored,
or a mirror effect introduced to make it look like art work.

question is why would someone doing a serious documentary fake this if it is a fake mirrored picture?

Everytime I read something about this shafts, I have to think of Gantenbrink and what a jerk he is in real life... he is from my hometown and I really don't recall anybody here who likes him.
Anyway, the video is manipulated, the reason remains unknown... maybe to make it look more spectacular?
