If the democrats really see themselfs losing the senate in 2014.
What power move would they have left , before 2016 ?
What job would Hillary take over being president ? To create her own legacy .
Something that would maintain the left/right paradigm by giving the house, the senate and whitehouse to the republicans.

Need a hint ?

IMO there's only one thing Hillary should do.

Remain resigned.

But then again the damage she would end up doing while running for office again could help all opposition.

It's not likely. It would be an absolute HAIL MARRY to throw Hillary into the SCOTUS. While being a lawyer, she has become a career politician. If you look at the biographies of the SC Justices you will find none of them ever engaging in "politics as usual."

They all have taken the road necessary to one day be appointed to the the SCOTUS. Hillary, I think we can all agree has NOT taken that road.

She would not be running for office, it would be an appointment ?

Gee, who would make that appointment ?
Some who owes the Clintons a favor ?
Who backed out of the election in 2010 and threw their support behind them ?
Who has gone to Bill for advise ?
Who did the Clintons support in 2012 ?

And which party controls the senate ?

To maintain the two party sham the republicans give Hillary the job and they get the house , senate and white house.
Both partys win and the public loses, what a surprise.

P.S. Obama care stays and illegals become U.S. citizens.

Welcome to the real world sheeple.

I hope I am wrong. But, the more I think about it...

The other option is Clinton vs Bush .
Now that is silly.

It may or may not happen, but I don't think they think they will lose.

If they do, it will be by a single seat, which puts them in a position to filibuster and obstruct like the GOP have done. SO I don't see it as a significant change of power from the status qou.

None...She will run for POTUS in 2016, if she loses she will grudgingly walk away from political office, but continue in political commentary and the Clinton Foundation.

There is no scenario where that happens. She runs in 2016 regardless of congressional balance this year. If she wins she is POTUS, if she loses a GOP Pres. would never nominate her. Apart from that she would never endure a confirmation hearing in this climate...no scenario where that could happen.

Doubt it. Whatever you think of Hillary, she has her sights on the oval office. She compromised once by going to state, but no doubt she will land in the oval office or go down kicking and screaming trying to get there.

Hillary won't run for president. She did miserably in her first attempt and has done two tours with Obama. She's got one foot in the pasture.
