You never bet against the house, or so they all say
But to really imagine how things can be this day
Odds may always be against you and never for
Winning doesn't matter to whom you adore
Do not try only do, it is all I ask of you!
Hope in the very nature of your heart
I believe we can make new start
Actions louder than a word
Don’t be a fool or absurd
Following the lies
And Don’t
Ask
Y
A
True
Triumph
Of Personal Will
is to see into the truth
Love is our fountain of youth
Humble and worn the veil is shorn
No jewel or precious stone will ever adorn
What is in your heart, mind, and in your soul
Don’t turn back now do not hesitate or be late
The race has been won, just have to open the gate
What a prize is this love and knowing what it is about
Our lives are gamble, a game, and time is running out!

S&F for figuring out the layout alone.
That was really good!

I like the shape this thread took.
Here is a wiki for info on the symbol.

Here is the revelation you catalyzed within me:

Cross / Hourglass = X marks Spot = "Now-Gift of the Present" =
Treasure in the Sands?

Treasure of The Sands is an optional mission presented as an epilogue following the main storyline of Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty.

Yarrr! That's Pleasure of the Hands!
I Opt for this Irate Pirate's Booty!

S&F, Abeverage!

The hourglass is perfect and you know I love the use of shape to illustrate in poetry. The message is a good one, too, I like the hopefulness and soulfulness, against whatever odds there may be...

Thank you for sharing this!
I will read and re-read it!!

peace,
AB

Beautiful, as always!

Adore, the hourglass shape and how it symbolizes the past, present and future of your love/relationship. It's got a nice flow!

Brilliantly written. It takes a certain amount of skill to write like that, skill I don't have.

Wow, I love the way you shape poetry like that, that's so cool. Does the hourglass represent the female shape or are you just going with time? Cool either way...

You poem reminded me of this...

Layers within layers but I would hope no woman to be shaped to that extreme! Curves are nice as long as you have both hands on the wheels!

Very nice friend. The words flowed nicely and it does seem like time is running out... But at the same time it seems that I am stuck in time.

You've got a nice talent with ya words. I enjoyed this one. Thanks for sharing it.

Whether you have a 100 years or a 100 minutes time is never on our side so why waste it?
Limbo gives you a chance to reflect what is truly in your heart.
Instead of a stagnate pool, try to see an ocean of restart.
Birth is terminal...
But I believe love is eternal.

Thank you as always Nat!
