ok so I was looking around Loch Ness on google earth and I found this image,
not only does it have Nessie,
but it has a Kraken!

It does kind of resemble the shape of the thing in the water above this post as well, now that I can see both together there.
In Google Earth it is listed as Loch Ness Monster

It doesn't look like a boat. I thought maybe, if it was a cloudy day it could be a boat under heavy fog, but it looks like a sunny, clear day and the boats at the side of the loch are bright white and clear to see.

Where is the boat? The only part that resembles a boat is the actual wake, but there is no boat.

It looks like a giant, radioactive catfish to me. Yup, I'll go with that.

That looks like it could be from anything really, a boat, school of fish, birds.

It's a shark or my first thought, for it being in Florida , is a Manatee

ETA: most likely a nurse shark from seeing the other pics.

I think this post should be re-instated. It was a photo of Charlie Sheen at a Nessie Carving in the middle of a roundabout on Dores Road, Inverness which leads out to the Dores Inn which is situated on the banks of Loch Ness. The photo was completly within the realms of the discussion. Charlie Sheen had been attending the masters Golf and is reported to have wanted to go find Nessie. He posed for this photographs and followed the road to the Dores Inn where he enjoyed a few drinks and spoke to the man who stays in a caravan on the banks of the loch who has made it his lifes work to find Nessie. All of the above is to the best of my knowledge true and factual. So although a very funny and entertaining image, it is relevant to the discussion.

Excellent analysis. That's pretty definitive, I reckon.

I went to Loch Ness back in the 1970s while on a tour round the UK and it's pretty magical place, especially around Urquhart Castle. Was hoping to see "Nessie" but she didn't oblige.

I wouldn't run to the hoax bin with this one, me thinks it's an artifact and not done intentionally. Apple's Maps app apparently stitches together the sat photos and this can produce artifacts like image overlapping.

LOL! Keep your cigar!

Seeing how one image is from Google and the other from Apple, I would say they are not the same exact image. However, we do know that the catamaran Jacobite Warrior provides tours on the Lock annually and is the most likely suspect do to its catamaran shape, size and resulting wake.

You can even make out the upper deck if you look closely at the sat images..

Study the picture carefully guys. It's a boat (;

You can see the characteristics and objects ontop of the boat.

It's hard to see.

No

That is a boat.
I live in a small fishing town where I see boats come and go daily. I have worked security on massive supply vessels for the Oil & Gas industry and I've also been on my fair share of boat fishing trips and there's two things wrong with your theory. The first and most glaringly obvious error with your theory is that the wake of a boat originates from the front (or bow) of the vessel, not a third of the way down. Secondly, a boat that travels along submersed under water is called a submarine.

That being said I hope there's no manipulation in this image and that it's all genuine. Have believed Nessie could be real all of my 36 years so far, proof would be nice...
