I don't get it? Maybe I'm just not smart enough but how could something like the sun be invisible?

Agreed. If you are not in the path of the light, then you cannot see it "side on" -- but, the sun does not send out focused, collimated beams like a laser. It spreads light out more or less evenly in a sphere, so you will always be in the path of it unless an object is blocking your direct view of the sun. If you look in the direction of the sun, then you will see light from it.

However, if you look in the direction of a laser pointer, which is beaming light at 90 degrees perpendicular to you, you will not see the beam -- unless it is scattered towards you by dust particles etc -- because the light is focused in only one direction. If the beam is turned directly towards you, you will see it when it hits your eye. (Health & Safety warning: don't try this one at home!)

yes you will see blue.
but the card is Not effecting the blue light!
it is only effecting the red light.
so is the card red or blue?

Check how all these images a filtered. There is allot of invisible light that is made visible.

Infa, gamma, xray are not visible to us.

A wonderful validation of the notion a little bit of knowledge is frequently worse than total ignorance.

Yeah, light needs matter to bounce off of... but ones eyes are... wait for it... matter.

And... oh heck, I bet others have explained it better somewhere above... sometimes I despair about general education and people's natures... and yeah, it goes for me too.

Actually it is. It is also in the radio, microwave, infrared, ultraviolet, xray, and gamma spectrum.
The full range of electromagnetic wavelengths.

Yes, we can use Hubble to record invisible light, because we can get more information about things by looking into different parts of the spectrum. But Hubble works in the visible range too. And it doesn't just work with telescopes. Human beings can see stars perfectly well in space. As has been mentioned more than once in this thread, stars can be used for navigation in space. Just like sailors used to do on the seas on Earth.

"Light" (or to be more accurate, EM radiation) in space covers a vast range of wavelengths, including the whole spectrum of visible light. Really and truly.

You mention a "grand lie". Who is lying about this, and for what purpose? Sounds like conspiracy-theory claptrap to me.


Edit to add: if anyone has made it to the end of the video (I hadn't), the guy even comes clean at the end. The important words begin at 2:25. He's just having a laugh with people.

Here is the spectrum of sunlight. Direct from the Spectral Irradiance Monitor riding on SORCE. Interesting. It peaks in the visible wavelengths.

Open mind and non-conventional thinking are good to a point. That point being things like holocaust denial or the anti-vaccination campaigns. Or homeopathy. Or drilling holes in mental patient's skulls to let the evil spirits out, like the ancient and medieval people did.
Education and science are the way forward, and you don't move forward by discarding what we have learned by using scientific method


Depends on what you mean 'moving forward'.
Your claim sugest that you know what life is all about.

Did we really moved forward compared to some ancient cultures?
Compared to isolated tribes still living today?

We all learn from mistakes, even from drilling holes in someones skull, but that doesn't mean we've got it right today.
And like someone else said earlier, most people find it very hard to admit their mistakes or change their ideas, especially if you have millions of followers.

When he says the sun is yellow he's probably remembering when it used to look yellow because of air pollution. He seems like an older gentleman scholar (saying each of those three words to be as kind as possible), so he recalls the sun as yellow. Most children still color the sun yellow when they portray it in drawings. The sun may be a yellowish-white star in classification, but we see it as blinding white.

I just learned that last night in a video by Neil Degrasse Tyson (sp) that Light does not need a medium to travel through. Unlike sound waves, which need air, light waves can travel through a vaccume.

Eric Dollard also says that he sun is hollow, that so called "sunspots" are openings showing that


size around 20'000km

And does he explain why the outer shell of the hollow sun does not collapse on itself (i.e., what's keeping it together?)

Also, does he explain why the sun has such a strong gravitational pull if it were hollow (and thus not have as much mass as it would appear to have)? If the answer to that is "it's hollow, but still has a large mass", my next question would be "why?"

Our Sun is literally a gate. A mass relay that connects two regions separated by vast distances of space. Our Sun Is most likely connected to Sirius. Every star is a potential quantum gate. Those large dark openings seen on the Sun's surface were "tunnels".

He may reason to think anything he likes but this is speculation.

no one knows what is going on under the photosphere.

Its all guesses.

That's why it's surprising everyone is so sure they are right...
