Of the people that saw the picture, 99% have passed it off as a B-2. The few that have said it wasn't, generally get told they're wrong until they stop saying anything.

What risk.

For sure it's not a B-2, but for the common Citizen not realy interested by Aerospace technology it's a B-2. Why flying over a city in a daylight when it will be more easy for a black aircraft to fly the night ? And at the same time a guy taking pictures outside hmmm.

Because it has to get to and from where it's going.

Sort of on topic - on a transcontinental flight and just flew over Whiteman and could spy a b-2 on the ramp. I tried to share with my wife but she doesn't care, so I thought I'd share here...

Is the light leading edge just a matter of light source?

There's a truck stop my wife and I like to stop at that's about 30 miles from Whiteman. Just about every time we've stopped there we've seen one go over. My wife went from not overly interested to shoving me out of the way to get out of the truck first to watch them go over.

My wife hasn't gotten to that point yet. Looking out the north side of the plane and I was 99% sure I knew what I was looking at but checked my gps just to make sure, and there we were just south of Whiteman with a little black triangle sitting outside...

If it were on one leg of the triangle I might think so, but it's on both.

Maybe it is just lighting, but maybe not.

I suppose the matter of the light source is all relative

They could have just been messing with us or it could have not meant anything relevant. However, there were two members on here who had a cryptic exchange implying it was some type stealth bomber over Wichita. It was two members who seemed to be more "in the know" and no neither one was Zaph. One was banned a few pages later and the other still posts so I won't name him.

Just like when people try guessing what the F-117s partner in crime was, nearly everything comes back to a triangle even when you tell them otherwise.....

I found this picture earlier in the thread. What is this image on the right? I've never seen it before and no one replied to it. Google reverse image search brings up nothing.

Certainly interesting regardless, makes you wonder what the 'top' of the aircraft would look like
