Jump in supersonic , surely not hyper but supersonic will be an interesting thing , to travel long distance if subsonic it take realy long time to go on the objective not realy an advantage to shoot the vilain mobile launcher, if so there is a chance the launcher has gone when you arrive on it.

The A-12 was going to revolutionize naval aviation, by giving them a stealthy capability. It was played up big, and then bigger when it started to go over budget to try to drum up support. The while thing turned into a huge mess that was only recently settled.

Bah. The real thing doesn't have anywhere NEAR that awful dihedral. And it's lumpier.

eta: I guess technically it's anhedral. So there.

I'm thinking its a variant of the Boeing/NASA X-48 based design. However I have no proof. I was just a thought I had after watching something about it.

But no evidence is not proof either though.

The shuttle was on the drawing board in 1969. It didn't fly until 1981, but it was under development from the 1960s as well.

Ok not sure i have to look up ?

In the 60s

ok you mean Concept>? or the actuall Design? internally and externally of every panel nut bolt and screw?

Possible configurations considered for the Space Shuttle as of 1970. (NASA photo).

Shuttle development in the 60s, was design studies, and concepts. Funding for the actual build didn't begin until the 1970s.

From what I've heard, it's a different platform. I thought it might be as well, but I was told it's something new.

I don't know if this was posted, but last week the U.S. Naval Institute said:

Midwest Mystery Jets are Actually B-2 Stealth Bombers

Yeah, right.

Here's another comparison:

I still think it's the new LRS-B. Although some are saying it could be the SR-72 replacement for the SR-71 Blackbird.
