Communism doesnt work because humans are motivated by self interest? Fully functioning, normal capitalism results in 80 percent of the world living on less than 10 dollars a day and more slaves now than 1860. Our contemporary ideology of self interest does not work out in the individual's self interest. Working together, in contrast, is in everyone's self interest. Working collectively, is in the interest of the individual. Virtually every civil right and societal law proves this correct.

And socialism is not "unsustainable because it leads to dependence" (a hilarious notion - capitalism cannot provide full employment, ergo, capitalism creates dependence by necessity), it is unsustainable because all money is printed at interest as debt. You cannot solve the contradictions inherent to money without abolishing contemporary ideas of profit. Every post neoclassical economist shows that money must be zero sum at any frozen point even within a Ponzi scheme, and so poverty will always be bred under any profit based economic system.

I think the right and left are mostly fraudsters. I don't think some that claim to be on the left are fake liberals and some claim to be on the right are fake conservatives.

I'm more libertarian and if I had to chose right or left I fit actually in the center to the right in the real sense. Limited government but not enough for anarchy.

Most people don't know what right and left represents. Its total government to the far left and no government on the far right.

It depends on the issue.

Legalize, regulate, tax dope? Yes (left) (and prostitution as well)
Natural selection vs creationism? Natural selection. (left)
Marriage equality? Yes (left)
Strong military? Yes (right)
Strong space program? Yes (right)
Smaller gov't? Yes (right).

etc etc

Socialism tends to lead to Communism and fascism because u r essentially giving up your rights to a few people to determine the future. Man is inherently evil so they will abuse that power and use it for themselves, so u would not get the Utopic that most socialists want u will get totalitarian instead. Humans will not give up their power when they finally seize it. History has proven this over and over and the left keeps wanting to repeat the same thing hoping for a different result. Not going to happen.


The right advocate individualism and free enterprise. They know its not perfect, but it's the best we have rather than the left centralize power that in the end may enslave us all.

Being from the UK I don't know much about American politics except to say it doesn't make a blind bit of difference which you support. The Left, Right, Republican, Democrat. Same idiots following the same agenda. Every election they have and every debate is just a charade to make people think they are different from each other. Just like in the UK with our Prime Ministers. They all sing from the same song sheet!

George Carlin said it the best. Voting is there to give the people the illusion of Choice!

I have not voted for years in the UK Elections. What is the point when the outcome has been determined before the vote?!

I don't side with either party . Politicians are all criminals and our country is controlled by Corporations and Banks. Period. I don't vote anymore or have any faith in our government except that they will take ALL our money and suck us dry. Voting is a joke, its an illusion to make you think you have a choice or a say. You don't. Voting machines can be hacked and it doesn't matter anyway when they are all on Corporate salaries and they tax us to death with our tax codes. The American dream is gone. So is our constitution. But pop that beer and watch some stupid football game and read about Kim Kardashians sex life to take your mind away from it all.
