He has the pull in around his home for sure, perhaps a little less federally after his controversies over the years.
He also has the family put in place to assist him, and he looks after them financially as well..
Sounds like any other politician to me though.
At least he's pushing for green energy and not coal or the like.

Yes the map in the OP that shows that searchlight is nowhere near Bundy ranch.
The big fat target placed on Gold Butte is for increased enforcment of environmental protection. You have not shown anything that proves otherwise.

Perhaps Reid's move to conserve this area is to appease the talking heads on what he plans to do to other areas?
