"The gall of America to call ordinary Ukrainian citizens as 'terrorists' is breath-taking. It's all part of the CIA psy-op to use the term 'terrorist' in order to appeal to Western civilian observers watching with humane interest the events transpiring in the Ukraine."

They have played the terrorists card to death, it's maxed out and today means little to people on the streets.

We are all terrorists now

It would seem that the west is creating Russophobia in the mostly ignorant masses .The west is so desperate because of their failing system .What they are doing is projecting .Projection is a psychological defense mechanism in which a person attributes his or her own characteristics to another person. For example, a hostile husband might attribute hostility to his wife and argue that she has an anger management problem. A classic example of a defense mechanism is when the feeling, “I hate her” is translated into, “She hates me.” In some cases projection can result in false accusations. For example, a spouse with adulterous feelings might accuse her spouse of infidelity.

Types of Projection

There are three generally accepted types of projection:

Neurotic Projection – This is the most common variety of projection and most clearly meets the definition of defense mechanism. In this variety of projection, a person attributes feelings, motives, or attitudes they find unacceptable in themselves to someone else.
Complementary Projection – This occurs when a person assumes that others feel the same way they do. For example, a person with a particular political persuasion might take it for granted that someone else shares her beliefs.
Complimentary Projection – This is the assumption that other people can do the same things as well as oneself. For example, an accomplished pianist might take it for granted that other piano students can play the piano equally well.

What Is the Purpose of Projection?

Sigmund Freud argued that projection is a way of avoiding uncomfortable repressed feelings. In modern psychology, the feelings do not necessarily have to be repressed to constitute projection. Projection provides powerful protection against feelings one does not wish to deal with. In complimentary and complementary projection, the process allows people to feel more like others. It is common for people to engage in projection from time to time, though in some cases projection can contribute to relationship issues or be a symptom of other mental health concerns.

What this is ALL about is the mere thought of the minute "possibility" that the Pyramids found in the Crimea, with the oldest dating back to 65 Million years to the Jurassic period, and the body of a pharaoh-like king who was found in a burial chamber wearing a golden crown, and who was declared by the finders to be "not of this world." I believe he was 1.7 meters tall, about four foot something.

Russia all but completely IGNORED the Crimean pyramids and their excavations all right up UNTIL that fateful moment, that it was announced, and once the age of the first pyramid was announced as 65 million years, and the finding of the body of this King, THAT is PRECISELY the moment the wicked dictator moved in. Now there's a move towards Baalbek as well, where the gigantic walls are all constructed of stones weighing each one 3,000 tons. Which makes me think that it was built by the ancient giants.

Reminds me VERY much of another sociopathic monster, Hitler, who was COMPLETELY obssessed with finding all things occultic and supernatural. Very interesting...

SLOVIANSK, Ukraine – Ukraine’s “anti-terrorist operation” to take back areas in eastern Ukraine seized by pro-Russian forces faltered as units of Ukraine’s elite forces in tanks and armored personnel carriers defected to the pro-Russian side.

In at least two towns – Sloviansk and Kramatorsk – armored vehicles were seen flying Russian flags and carrying defected troops.

Bad news for Ukraine ....

How is that bad news? Did you WANT them to kill those poor people?!

Exactly! I creased myself laughing today when I caught a journalist questioning an Eastern citizen who replied "Terrorist? I 'm no terrorist, I've just come from planting onions!"

I dont even understand why every news outlet and UN/EU politician seems so shocked at the latest turn of events. Anyone with half a braincell knew that Ukraine was done as a country since the very beginning of the Crimean conflict. It cannot exist its current state. Russia has already won, there's no reason to dance around the fact. What the current Ukrainian goverment/EU/UN is doing now just trying to find excuses for being offended so that they can point the finger at bad guy Russia, rather than actually solving the conflict by breaking Ukraine into a western and eastern part - the only thing that isnt going to end up in civil war.

15:12 GMT:

Some 300 Ukrainian troops agreed to lay down their weapons and “go home” following negotiations in Slavyansk, Interfax reports, citing local self-defense activists.

“We managed to negotiate with them. About 300 military – only some of those who closed around the city – decided to lay down their arms and go home,” a self-defense activist was quoted as saying.

Reports from the scene said that the locals would not allow the soldiers to take back the APCs, but they were allowed to keep their rifles. The people were cheering the troops

19:19 GMT:

Donetsk’s South-East Movement for Federalization has made a list of demands to the authorities in Kiev, reports Itar-Tass. Following the results of its first session, the group demanded a constitutional reform aimed at the federalization of the country, a pardon for anti-government protesters, a cancellation of the mobilization of forces, and an end to military operations in Ukraine. The gathering was chaired by presidential candidate Oleg Tsaryov.

19:03 GMT:

Three people were injured after Ukrainian troops heading for Kramatorsk airfield in armored vehicles fired at a car attempting to block their way, RIA Novosti reports citing anti-government activists.

The incident took place near the village of Pchyolkino, south of Kramatorsk. The car was placed in the way of a convoy of an unknown number of vehicles, which then continued driving towards the airfield.

According to the activists, two people received leg injuries and a third one was shot in the shoulder. The wounded activists sought medical help.

19:02 GMT:

Ukraine’s acting prosecutor general, Oleg Makhnitsky, says that criminal proceedings have been launched against 14 banks – including Russia’s biggest bank, Sberbank, RIA Novosti reports

Sounds more than a little like the Occupy movement here in the US!!!

I was TDY over in Las Cruces, New Mexico when 'Occupy' was there. Driving new SUV's with Obama bumper stickers and such...they were definitely hired by someone...

The most obvious difference is, is they're but a small group of pro Russian protesters amounting only in the hundreds, with armed groups and Russian issued kit and weapons backed by Russia, this is the problem here

So I guess that proves beyond doubt Russia is behind the armed mobs as the UN US & NATO have stated time and time again

Protesters do not wield sub machine guns and tanks

The Ukrainian government has offered to talk about there needs, but clearly Russia won't allow this

That's because what Russia is doing is illegal

All referendums should be fairly done under the Ukrainian government and or UN peacekeepers and UN observers from across the globe, not by force

Nobody is disputing or questioning what they actually want in the East west or Crimea, but much rather Russia's actions inside the country's, and Russia's continuous attempts to destabilise the country...

Older ladies (or disguised terrorists) guarding barricades.

www.youtube.com...

According to banners we see these people are well aware that west is behind all of this. This is really a good thing to see and
there is less and less chance of repeating the same scenario we have seen in Libya and Syria with extremes trying to cause civil war. CIA has used islamic militants in Libya and Syria. Similar scenario we are seeing in Ukraine, but since there is no islamic militants there, nazis&fascists are good enough to take a role of 'democratic protesters'.
White House and CIA failed big time in Ukraine.

And the Merry-go-round goes round and round... still applying double standards?

TritonTaranis
That's because what Russia is doing is illegal

On what legal basis? International law? Because US/EU/NATO never did anything illegal in the last two decades?

TritonTaranis
All referendums should be fairly done under the Ukrainian government and or UN peacekeepers and UN observers from across the globe, not by force

Yet that is how the current Government in Kiev got in power... by force (and against the Ukrainian constitution).

All while we (inside the EU) totally ignore perfectly fine and democratic referenda In other places.

Except when NATO wants to break up a souvereign state of course, like the former Federal Republik of Yugoslavia, without a UN-mendate... so de jure, also against international law.

TritonTaranis
Nobody is disputing or questioning what they actually want in the East west or Crimea, but much rather Russia's actions inside the country's, and Russia's continuous attempts to destabilise the country...

The same goes for US/EU/NATO's actions inside Ukraine.

Ukraine presidential candidates attacked in Kiev

Meanwhile, in Kiev, two presidential candidates assaulted by fascist goons. This is the second time the eastern candidate was assaulted, this time seriously after he was on a Svoboda talk show. Both incidents were well documented.

UN peacekeepers should be there.

07:51 GMT:

Soldiers who laid down arms during military operation against protesters in east Ukraine will face a tribunal, coup-imposed acting President Aleksandr Turchinov said.

“The 25th paratroopers brigade, the personnel of which demonstrated cowardice and laid down their arms, will be dissolved. And the soldiers responsible will be held accountable in court,” Turchinov said at a parliamentary session. " I guess the Nazi's never heard of the Nuremberg trials and know that it is legal to not take orders from such fascist .

On Wednesday crews of six Ukrainian armored personnel carriers sent to the town of Kramatorsk switched sides and joined the local self-defense squads. The defected troops, all of whom come from neighboring Dnepropentrovsk, explained their move by their unwillingness to go into battle against the local population.

Three people were killed and thirteen others injured by gunfire in a confrontation between anti-Maidan protesters and soldiers stationed at an Interior Ministry base in the Ukrainian city of Mariupol, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has written on his Facebook page.

ColCurious
How exactly is our (US/EU/NATO) previous meddling and covert destabilizing of the situation in Ukraine any different to what Russia is doing?

Evidence.
But besides that, the USA and others have not moved in military to seize control of Ukrainian government buildings.

ColCurious
We know by now that both sides invested vast amounts of money and intelligence to prep their respective proxies.

No, we have evidence that Yanukovych opened fire on his own people, ran away, and his own elected politicians voted to remove him from office and invited a conversation with the involvement of the protestors to prepare for NEW ELECTIONS. Where is the evidence that any other country other than Russia has used any method of force in the country? I'm not denying that the US and EU has an interest here, just as Russia does, but the difference is the use of force. Whether it's all about perception or not, Russia is the country that has moved in military forces - a clear and irrefutable breach of international law.

ColCurious
The conservative estimate is that at least 79 people have been killed and more than 570 injured in the maidan-protests. At least 13 officers died, 130 injured by gunshot wounds.
How exactly the protests escalated still remains to be investigated, but there is already evidence that not all happened like western MSM reported.

And if that's the case then it needs to be investigated.
Personally, I have seen no evidence at all that anyone other than government agents opened fire in the square. Either way, this does not excuse a foreign invasion and annexation of internationally recognized Ukrainian soil.

ColCurious
As "the2ofusr1" already stated, recent investigations suggest that sniper-fire on Maidan came from agent provocateurs, from the windows of Hotel Ukraina (exactly from where the oppsition resigned at the time).

Again, this needs to be investigated, but I have not seen any actual evidence of this claim. A YouTube video, blog post, statement or suggestion IS NOT EVIDENCE.

ColCurious
Go research some of the crucial elements that actively destabilized the situation in Ukraine in the first place.
Look up the UNA-UNSO, the paramilitary arm of Prawyj Sektor, who are linked to NATO's GLADIO (according to US and BND intelligence). A covert NATO operation, working in Ukraine since far before Maidan.

Again, YouTube videos, blog post and accusations from the likes of Alex Jones is not EVIDENCE of anything. Conspiracy theories are NOT EVIDENCE.

ColCurious
Yes, there are elections coming up... only that should have happened before our bureaucrats even recognised the new government in Kiev, against the Ukrainian constitution.

The elected government in Kiev made the right decision. Their criminal leader had fled, the protest was ongoing, armed factions within the government had (it was believed) had opened fire on their own people. It was right that a new interim government be formed with all elements involved in order to function fairly in preparations for new elections. This was a matter of fundamental trust.
We need someone to discuss with in the Ukrainian government, without the forming of the interim government things would have only spiraled into further turmoil as other groups vied to fill the power vacuum.
