Tsunami warning has been issued after a strong 8.3 magnitude earthquake struck near the Solomon Islands in the southwestern Pacific Ocean.
Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has issued an expanding regional tsunami warning for the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Nauru, New Caledonia, Tuvalu and Kosrae.
A tsunami watch is in effect for Kiribati, Fiji, Marshall Islands, Wallis and Futuna, Howland and Baker, Pohnpei, Tokelau, Australia, Samoa, Indonesia, Kermadec Islands, New Zealand, American Samoa, Tonga, Chuuk, Niue, Cook Islands, Wake Island, Guam, Northern Marianas, Yap, Palau, Jarvis Island, Minamitorishima, Palmyra Island and Johnston Island.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake, initially estimated at a magnitude 8.3, occurred at a depth of about 10 kilometers (6 miles).
Never the less my 'guess' is Chile high 7, lo 8 in April and either preceded or followed quickly by low to mid 7 in Santa Cruz/Vanuatu
looking at around April 21 just because there is more often one around that date than not.
