I'm just guessing, but is it a butter churn?

]No Jacygirl, it isn't a butter churn, butter churns are bigger, made of wood mainly, have no glass and have a wooden stick, you are very cold, but a good guess still.
HINT: Compared to a 4 L tub of icecream, it would only be a half L. lol!

I'm going to take a wild guess and say its a mini-butter churn - with a mini-slinky!

But seriously I haven't a clue.

No Aleister, it isn't a mini butter churn but you are warmer in size lol, also a good try

rofl....well, the little slinky must be a spring...the wooden peg must go in the hole in what appears (to me) to be the base...the other long thing looks like the 'plunger'....so butter churn is what I came up with too.
Ugh! Damn my Vulcan logic, lol.
If I have to put up the next pic, I'm really gonna have to dig around to find something.

But it iS good logic Jacygirl, it is just that butter churns are a lot bigger, and I've never seen one with glass, and yes lol! The slinky thing IS a spring. Never doubt your logic, by looking at it, it does kind of look like one so don't give up yet....

Well since everyone clearly read my mind and stole my idea.....

I guess I'll take another shot and go with a juicer/fruit masher? The only thing that gets me, is that it seems to have an open bottom to sit over something.

Well now Doodle19815, you are still wrong but a LOT warmer aand more on the right track now lol!

Hey StormyStars,

I seriously cannot find anything cool to post, if I do get one right!

Okay...so we still don't know then.
Someone has to figure it out....?

I'm seeing a vintage onion/herb chopper

edit: Oh that is glass on the top of the pic? So hard to see, I thought it was metal. In that case I have no idea.

There is definitely a press mechanism, but I can't tell if it's for pitting or pressing fruits or something.

It is a mechanism yes SpaceGoatFarts, but no. You ARE the hottest though lol!

It wouldn't survive the pressure required to extract oil from olives I think. The olive art work is very common on stuff from around the Mediterranean sea.
