I agree with you, I have no problem with ATS, the antivirus program I have works well with the ATS site, ads yes - there are some, but for the annoying ad's that maybe suspicious or intrusive... the program blocks them without question. However, I do question some ads placed on ATS; all I can say is, these companies must pay them good $$$ to run such ads...

No, youre wrong about him. Youre describing a fool who doesnt know a thing about computers. Many of us here who dont know a lot...and we dont have those problems.

With all the topics and info here...and he's the way he is? No wonder all he watches is porn Thats the problem. Dump the stuff, change his settings, allow site access etc...and join the flow......

*PS He can STILL access his porn-for-world-news-and info sites...thats basic computer tooling...and since he cant...I doubt he's as savy as you suggest

Not a single ad here either. ATS is as clean as can be on my end.

This is a free website that I'm sure cost the owners a pretty penny to operate. Anyone who complains because we have to see a few ads needs to be reminded of how many ads they see on tv. Someone has to pay to have this site on the net perhaps those that complain would like to take over the bill in lieu of no ads?

I disagree, based solely on the premise that he fears a website, for those sole reasons you list at least.

Anyone that "is no fool at the keyboard" Understands the technology involved enough to protect themselves from the inherent danger of opening your computer to any network.

Even an old fart like me knows how to half-ass protect myself and all I get is the Dodge truck pop-up ad when I land. 1) Stay away from porn sites 2)Stay away from porn sites 3) use the Numerous free and useful tools for getting rid of unwanted stuff and malware 3) see #1 and #2
