I really don't think its funny either, but I do think its indicative of a growing frustration regarding our political leaders.

I would not recommend such behavior...the lady who threw the shoe will be put through the ringer by the secret service and other authorities - and she's being charged with a felony - so as to made an example of, in that this type of behavior will hot be tolerated. In other words, as entertained as some may be by this incident, bottom line is that it produces no good fruit.

The lady who threw the shoe was prob. looking for her 15 minutes of fame. She got it, but it won't be worth it.
Whether Dem or Repub., Conservative or Liberal, politicians have a right to speak without being attacked.
