It just makes you look like an ignorant ass when you generalize people like that. Get a grip on reality.

Kinda hard to dig into things when you don't even know who it is. Give it time.

The attacker “had the same expression on his face that he has every day, which was the freakiest part,” Moore said. “He wasn’t saying anything. He didn’t have any anger on his face. It was just a blank expression.”

Hmmmm, that sounds strangely familiar.

Did Tim McVeigh have a smile and a wave for the officer when he blew up a ton on kids?
The LAWYERS OF THIS COUNTRY HAVE MADE IT ABOUT THE DRUGS...
It is actually about mental illness and an inept healthcare program that could help thousands. But Taxes are bad and that's socialism. Seems to be a llot less killings of this magnitude in europe.

There was the fascist T empler guy (not on SSRIs) in Norway? The Scotland massacre (no SSRIs either)...
Nothing will be perfect. But pre-existing mental conditions brought on by lack of counseling, therepy, drugs which can help and a pervasive media which makes it an EXCUSE to say "I took pills" and the lawyers drooling over maybe becoming famous enough to get in the House or Senate...see where this is going?

Actually the statistics do match up.. That is the problem.. I can probably google every mass shooting in the US since Columbine and I can probably about 80% of the mass shootings.. The people where on some drug..

Then we can look at side effects.. If you are wondering about side effects of Ambien..

Side effect include but not limited to:
Attack, assault, or force
black, tarry stools
change in walking and balance
clumsiness or unsteadiness
cough
delusions
dementia
difficulty swallowing
dizziness
hives
itching
lack of feeling or emotion
pale skin
puffiness or swelling of the eyelids or around the eyes, face, lips, or tongue
skin rash
sore throat
sores, ulcers, or white spots on the lips or in the mouth
swollen glands
thoughts of killing oneself or changes in behavior
tightness in the chest
troubled breathing with exertion
uncaring
unusual bleeding or bruising

Notice something about this.. If you like puzzles you can put together a nice mass killer..

I also want to point this out..
Link

it goes into detail at least this drug..

Ambien causes lapses in memory. That is its worst side effect. I take a pill it gives me diarrhea, but I COULD DIE FROM IT if I was in a .007%.

Tylenol causes severe liver damage yet it is placed in nearly every opiate pain killer.

LAWYERS are chomping at the bit to get a little action and billable hours.
Im not trying to anger other members like the little Mogwai who I've had a decent repoire with, but...media and lawyers are trying to sway opinion like always. I could say a guy with a gun shot people. Getting a gun requires a permit. Getting a script requires a doctor. Maybe we need to look to other countries for influence. Peace all...im out.

Really?

•abnormal thoughts and behavior. Symptoms include more outgoing or aggressive behavior than normal, confusion, agitation, hallucinations, worsening of depression, and suicidal thoughts or actions.

Keep kidding yourself that all of the negatives against SSRIs, sleep aids, and other so-called "anti" depressants are due to ambulance chaser lawyers. I wish you were right, but you're not. These chemicals are jacking up our brains and, as has become the norm, enough money has changed hands to ensure that nobody with any form of authoritative power is going to do anything about it.

Hummmm, gun control must be working.... No one got shot!

Now we will have a knife control law, and not be allowed to have knives any more too.

Alcohol is involved in more than half of all violent crimes.
That is what I am I saying.

GUNS are involved along with alcohol in SOOOOO many more violent acts. Your three stars show that ignorance is bliss. Mass media blows everything out of proportion. Go back and read my posts about LAWYERS WANTING A CUT OF SETTLEMENTS. Then get back to me.

Rather than focus on someone's mental health, attack the drug companies...
The illness is diagnosed. There are pre-existing conditions. Drugs may or may not exacerbate the situation. We do not know. Are you a neurologist? Psychiatrist?
If so, I find your opinion valid. If not...
Go back to putting eyelets on shoelaces or whatever you do.

almost all the school shooters have been on ssris and at colunbine, rather then have the shooters' drug list brought out by the kid who was shot 17 times saving a bunch of people, the judge ordered the shooters medical records destroyed and threatened jail on the hero who was trying to expose a critical aspect of the killing spree

mcveigh did oklahoma?
boy, you really need to look into thinks a little deeper
like maybe check out what some of the cops that were there had to say about
who they thought actually did the crime

Yeah right, except the fact that people put on SSRI and SSNRI are diagnosed with anxiety and or depression, not paranoia, and homicidal rage. Plenty of people that had "mild situational depression"(AKA normal grieving etc), end up offing themselves. That's a lot easier to blame that on the "preexisting condition", it don't work so well on people that go on murderous rampages.

Sorry. This is all just too suspicious. I can't really say these aren't real events because It would be pretty much impossible for them to be completely staged but something isn't right. I believe they're using this stuff to manipulate us. They have things in mind they want to do and they're going to use our emotional responses to these events to get us to cooperate.

A couple of thoughts. Did any of the male students try to stop him. Throw a chair at him, rush him and use thrown books to maybe distract him? We've raised a generation of dork losers who are quick to grab cell phones and hoot and howl and record incidents but not get involved or take action. One female student used first aid to save one students life, she at least kept her head.
What if any meds was he on? This should be the first thing they try to find out. Raid his medicine cabinet first, then search his computer second.
Somebody suggested a TSA like security search checkpoint at all schools. I wish you could slap a person that stupid via the internet. That's the last thing we need warping the minds of our youth, that its okay to have a government presence watching everything you do and making you obey their every order. The TSA is full of pervs and wannabe fascists anyway, keep them away from our kids.
They said the kid had a blank expression like he always did. I wonder if he had friends or had trouble processing emotions like the Connecticut shooter.
Lastly, I work in retail and kids steal a large number of knives, combat style knives, which should be locked up IMO. If you're caught with a knife( or any weapon) you should be expelled circumstances possibly being an exception. And the parents should have to pay the bill for alternative education.
The wrestling coach in that video that took down the drug dealing kid with a box cutter got reinstated and the schools superintendent had to apologize BTW. I'll be she feels like an idiot now.

I agree, but haven't decided to what degree yet.
Should they be teaching kids basic first response EMT training now?
Tactical evasion of threats?
Simple disarm procedures?

Metal detectors will not work in all cases, I complained about this on FaceBook years ago(among other things) and got tossed off. There are ceramic knives everywhere now, you can buy a set at Target. They are as sharp as glass and undetectable to metal detectors.

It is just a sad, sad time to be a kid in school!

Funny...
Most ER doctors and nurses will be the first to tell you perpetrators of violence with guns, knives, etc. Were most likely under the influence of ALCOHOL!

Look up the stats...
Alcohol is involved in nearly half of all violent crime.

Also if a person is on medication for a psychological condition, could it in fact be THE PSYCHOLOGICAL CONDITION that pushed them over the edge.

That's like in the 80's trying to blame heavy metal music or dungeons and dragons for suicides. Problems existed before any other influence...

alcohol. sure....sometimes, drunk people are violent....drunk people don't go shooting up schools, and malls, and office buildings, and theaters, and other public places...people on SSRI's do..

heavy metal music, and dungeons and dragons don't have side effects that include (but are in no way limited to): Anxiety, mania, suicidal/homicidal ideations, agitation, insomnia, confusion, sexual dysfunction, hallucinations, nervousness, seizures, irrational fears, mood swings, violent behavior....i can go on at length, but i think you get the idea...

i agree that psychological conditions exist, and they're nothing to balk at.....but the field of practice that deals with those conditions has become lazy...they over-prescribe these drugs..

take a look here....pretty much EVERY one of these mass casualty events has been perpetrated by a person on an SSRI...

www.cchrint.org...

www.cchrint.org...

saying there is no correlation is just plain dishonest, and ignorant.

It's time we stopped apologizing for the acts of the people committing these crimes by blaming alcohol and drugs as the root cause. I submit that the violence in entertainment (TV, movies, video games etc.) and the lack of parental involvement in their lives is a more likely cause. Stop the apologies and look within. These kids are being given so many mixed messages and distractions that they have turn into self absorbed, narcissistic addicted little pr*cks. It is said that it takes a village to raise a child, unfortunately it looks as though we may have burned ours to the ground.

I think it is all of the above, however if we don't address the drug problem this will continue.

Sure wish I could find that video I posted on here a while back, there is a real conspiracy here.

My son would have disarmed the punk and put him on the ground. I make sure my kids understand and know the world is not safe. They must try to maintain a state of alertness with their surroundings. Sure it sucks our kids have to grow up like this but the alternative is possibly death.
