Oh, well now, my OTHER grandfather, which you didn't even ask about, was a POW in Bataan for three years. He was in the 201 CAC, Flint Company. He wasn't Jewish.

So yes, I know about loss also. But am I blaming the Japanese today? No, I only blame those that lived then. Today, Germans have had to live with the stigma, but am I blaming Germans who were born after WWII? No, only the ones who lived then.

There are individuals who do have the choice and don't play it. Maybe you never hear so much about them, but a system is made of people. Those people can choose to be a part or not a part.
