3000 people is a success at a state capital?

Why not?

I have seen Progressives put up post as truths in favor of their party based upon a poll that only included 1500!

See the link someone posted above bragging about the decline of the Tea Party! Guess what, it was based upon polling 1500 people!

If you look all polls generally only contact around 1000 to 1500 people. This applies to all polls no matter what party.

America's two-party political system consisted of the Tea Party and the Libertarians!!

So we would go from beggar and thief to dumb and dumber.

Seeing how the TPers run on the Republican ticket they are part of big government. I guess they don't have what it takes to run as their own party.

I would think everyone, either republican, democrat, liberal, conservative, libertarian. . . would be out FOR protecting and preserving and defending the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

After all, it is in ALL our best interests.

I doubt the Tea Party is a problem. To me the Tea Party is Divergent and is a threat to the system, so the system is trying to eliminate them. U see the globalists believe in big government so they can control the people. The Tea Party and Liberatarians are for small government which would destroy the control structure of the globalists.

Nah, it would only seem that way because you were getting those terrible old outdated freedoms and rights back instead of losing more of them. And you are more than willing to sacrifice those because your party tell you it's for all of us and peace, right?

Anything that is not of your party is ridiculous, dumb, dumber, wacky, etc... Right? Doesn't your party preach to everyone else to be tolerant and stuff?

If I was in a party, and someone in that party was in office, and did anything unethical or with something in reverse of promises made and such, (you should be quite familiar with this one), I wouldn't ignore it only because he/she was in that party. When people do that, what happens to the quality and integrity of that party? Exactly what has already happened to both the main parties. They are toast except for dog eat dog and grab as much as you can carry away without anyone noticing while it all drains back into the swamp it sprang from...

Ouch, what a price to pay huh?

What I don't get is the negative post about this.

Any time Citizens take their duty to this country serious enough to get off their asses, turn off american idol, and march on a capital...

3000 is a win in anyones book, thats a win for Democracy in general.

Considering how apathetic the average voter is, that is a huge number.

It seems people have been trained to shout down any kind of descent from the norm...

Mass starvation and only one business left in America (a mega corporation thanks to eliminating all anti monopoly laws). Oh, don't forget about the poisoned water, unbreathable air, and not a tree, animal, or natural resource left (thanks to eliminating the EPA).

But lots of guns, oh, and bibles.

And Probably:

Unemployment rate under 3%

Average pay scales for regular workers at all time highs

Gasoline at $1.00 a gallon

American involvements with International military/banker wars at 0

The National Debt Surplus at +500 billion dollars per year

Pollution and GMO food non-existent

Overall crime statistics at all time lows

Medical services at record reasonable rates

Trade surpluses at all time highs

Immigration laws enforced 100%, not selectively

Illegal immigration practically non-existent

etc. etc.

Too much to list !!

Unemployment rate under 3%

Yea, this I believe. Because if you don't have a job with the megacorp then you starve to death, because there's absolutely zero social safety net. Seeing how there will only be one business in the United Corporation of America if the TPM and Libertarians take over, if you don't work for them, you don't get to live.

Average pay scales for regular workers at all time highs

This I never get. How on earth do you think that giving rich people more money somehow makes them less greedy? One of the platforms for the TPM and Libertarians is to eliminate the minimum wage. Which would mean the only business left in America could pay it's employees whatever they want, and with no other business left, a person would have to take what they could get. So how would the pay scale be at all time highs?

Gasoline at $1.00 a gallon

Only slightly irradiated from carpet nuking the middle east and just stealing it I suppose right?

American involvements with International military/banker wars at 0

After the global thermonuclear war they would cause because EFF DIPLOMACY!

The National Debt Surplus at +500 billion dollars per year

Ah so taxes for the poor would be through the roof eh?

Pollution and GMO food non-existent

With no EPA or regulations the megacorp would call that what "air enhancement"? "water flavoring"? And I believe you, no GMO's cause absolutely NOTHING would be able to be grown after the megacorp destroys the environment and makes the planet completely uninhabitable.

Overall crime statistics at all time lows

Yea cause everyone would have a gun right? Cause it's not "murder" but "pre emptive self defense"

Medical services at record reasonable rates

"reasonable" lmao

Trade surpluses at all time highs

Of course there would be because there wouldn't be anyone left to trade with after the global thermonuclear war.

Immigration laws enforced 100%, not selectively

With guns!

Illegal immigration practically non-existent

Mass graves on the other hand, probably lots of mass graves. I wonder though, would you all call the death camps, internment camps or processing facilities?

Nothing (excepting the truth) competes against a good typist, with apparent unlimited time on their hands, and nothing substantive to say. It IS the recipe for the DoomPorn. Nice call.

The TP isn't going anywhere. It's been with us the whole time. I'm enjoying the sound of the chorus. Somebody strike up the band in the tune of a march.

As I type this I am writing from Hartford, CT, the state capital city.

3000 is a lot for Connecticut, Hartford is a pretty small city. Wiki lists the city population at ONLY 125,000 people. That's tiny.

I wish I could have attended but I was really busy moving from one home to another.

From the sound of the locals here the 3000 was quite a sight and a big impact!

Edit: Just look how small the city center is.
upload.wikimedia.org...

That's our state capital city! There are bigger cities in CT than than Hartford.

The was a pro gun law rally held there last year with est 5500 people gathered:

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Thousands of people, including some first-time activists moved by the deadly shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, rallied at Connecticut's state Capitol on Thursday demanding lawmakers toughen gun laws.

Holding signs that read: "We are Sandy Hook. We deserve change" and "Let's get this done," many in crowd — estimated by the state Capitol Police at 5,500 — said they wanted to make sure their opinions were heard. They said they did not want them overshadowed by vocal gun rights advocates who've successfully defeated gun control measures in Connecticut in the past, such as limits on the size of ammunition magazines.

Thousands rally for gun control in .....

Im pro gun but to claim this was a tea party rally when it was not is not a sign that the tea party is coming back. Wearing colonial type clothing doesn't make it a tea party event....
