I am pretty sure the church will not die without trying to take as many people with them as possible.

It's not the same people from 300+ years ago, consider the people in charge the same kind of people as CEOs, as individuals they're normal but the best interests of a company is a very degrading thing for society. To say they'll go out with a bang is a bit Hollywood though, the faces you can't see will be in a different market and if certain people need to continue controlling the thoughts of the believers they'll just convince them to convert to Islam. Just a matter of decades.

Yeah true, I don't really get religion myself. Never have done, I was schooled at a church of England school and realised that it was all too flawed by the age of ten. I remember been asked to leave the class as the local vicar came to visit for us to ask questions. I asked if we all came from Adam end Eve does that mean that we are all inbred?

I think Islam is gaining popularity as it is a lot more strict than Christianity, people like to give themselves a set of rules to follow a purpose, a meaning. The sense of togetherness in the Islam community seems strong and open to accept others to learn their teachings. I don't think there is that feeling as widely spread in Christianity, certainly not here in the UK its all a bit too much stiff upper lip.

To be fair Adam and eve was just a metaphor for many adam and eves:p simplicity works best. But repeating old stories doesn't. Wise men's words were put into a book and every other wise man was ignored since

No doubt the man/men/council who wrote the bible were very intelligent, but it has just been the tweaking to suit current agendas that has distorted it over time. The majority of the population here who worship with the Church of England, a religion which was cut, shuffled and taped back together by a fat king in the 14th century so he would murder and divorce his wives.

Anyway I think I digress too much from the OP's topic.

That is the Sunday after Easter, 20 April 2014.

In the Christian Church, is there a significance to the first seventh-night of each major celebration? By being canonized as Saints on this specific date is there a significance?

If I understand correctly, this is being broadcast to be viewed with 3D glasses. It would be more interesting if broadcast in holographic form. That would certainly open a "conspiracy portal"...

This is interesting! I will be watching this closely, looks like Australia isn't included though? It would probably be night time or a ridiculous hour here for it then.... Very interesting considering the conspiracies surrounding this so i guess we will have to wait and see what happens!

i'm not a fan of him but i appreciate most of what he said to the public so far

i guess... his speech will be about unity between mankind
or anti-war or similar stuffs about peace. sounds 'boring' than listening to 'heroic' bible stories being told over and over in television and church, right?

most people may find those kind of speech boring, i think mankind really need that as reminder, because the way we treat ourselves, others, and this planet, only makes us going backward not forward.

history will repeat itself until we learn that all we need are unity, joy, love, peace of heart and mind

peace

The Sunday after Easter is Divine Mercy Sunday, per the Catholic Church (see: Divine Mercy Sunday.) This year, it is the date of the declaration of the sainthood of John Paul II and John XXIII.

Apart from that, I don't know that it has any relevance.

There is supposed to be a Blood Red Moon and Lunar Eclipse on April 15.

www.plenglish.com...

The "Blood Moon Prophecy" popularized by two well-known Christian pastors states that the start of the end times will coincide with this eclipse. The validity of this prophecy is doubted by most Christian and secular sources.

They are the elite?

I was going to say the same thing. I would think that this Pope is definitely part of the Elite, or TPTB, or whatever else comes to mind. He has more socialist leanings than any other pope in recent history, I think. And what I mean by that is that I could see this Pope falling into the one-world government idea than any other.

Obama recently visited... Maybe he's going to endorse Obamacare?

I will probably watch this as my curiosity has been piqued now. I will have to do it in 2D though.

I thought something was stirring when Obama visited The Pope, then The Queen not long after and now this canonization announcement.
...will not be watching this as it could be some sort of trickery.

I forgot to mention The Pope visits Israel this coming May also.

So we get to see real pedophile(s) on 3D TV now?

hmmmm that is new. How come no government actually ever speaks out against the rape, child abuse and anal rapings the churchs lovely authorities have committed on thousand of children (and admitted to)????

I just don't know, this is like conspiracy bad dream. We have religion, bad guys, high tech, planet alignment, eclipse, blood moons, I'm guess some sort of hologram thing to create two extra popes, three d added to the mix, and all for free.

This would have to be a ritualistic wet dream for those who may practice that sort of thing, and I can't even begin to count how many threads we have had like those around here trying to point that out, albeit after the fact, or, in a prediction thread.

My woman instincts are just telling me there is something very very wrong with this picture. I would be ecstatic if the outcome of all this is a positive one, but.......

For the people into numerology, how are the numbers adding up for this even with all taken into consideration? Just curious.

Is the pope a paedophile? I don't believe you can judge every priest on the actions of some. Not saying he isn't, but I'm sure he'd rather buy a hooker than a kid

You are absolutly correct a pope is a pope till he dies . The last one stepped down which was unheard of. Life span of a man once he becomes pope is about six years. Tough job.
