What is missing is complete contract documentation as required by law. -

So how do a bunch of lawyers 'lose' contract documentation ?

Like that lawyer CLinton, and company.

Perhaps kickbacks from arms sales after the buybacks?

Dec 10, 2012

Shortly after the October 2011 death of Qaddafi, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced in Tripoli that the U.S. was committing $40 million to help Libya “secure and recover its weapons stockpiles.” Department of State Assistant Secretary Andrew Shapiro confirms DOS had a weapons buy-back program in Libya that was also supported by the UK who gave $1.5 million, the Netherlands gave $1.2 million, Germany gave about $1 million and our neighbor to the north, Canada gave $1.6 million to purchase the deadly arsenal that went missing after the fall of Qaddafi.

The State Department was specifically looking to acquire the 20,000 MANPADS (they are commonly known as man-portable air shoulder-fire missiles) that went missing once Qaddafi was killed.

OOps !!!

Did CIA and State Department Run Illegal Arms Trafficking in Benghazi?

The *Real* Hillary is right here to see.....

Actually, six billion dollars is not missing. What is missing is complete contract documentation as required by law. Crappy bookkeeping, intentional or otherwise.

Isn't keeping insufficient bookkeeping records that shows the true and fair state of the finances, with full traceability etc, a crime?

The Department should take additional action to correct its inadequate enforcement of the FAR's provisions, and its own procedures, that govern the maintenance of contract files. The failure to enforce those requirements exposes the Department to significant financial risk and makes OIG oversight more difficult.

oig.state.gov...
edit on 4/4/2014 by Phage because: (no reason given)

I fail to see the difference, if there is no paperwork then the money is also missing.

Nah that is just what their definitition of 'transparency' means.

Hiding stuff.

Changing the 'official records'.

And losing stuff.

I'm sure it is.

That's why they made sure there was no inspector general around.

They thought they would never get caught !!!

"We've got for dead AMERICANS"

I suppose she really meant to say people.

Unless of course she's trying to infer that citizens of the US of A are not people but cattle owned by the Government (e.g. Hillary) -- as evidenced by only said "Americans" (and North Koreans) having to file tax returns and pay taxes to the US of A regardless of where in the world they happen to live.

She could at least offer a discount voucher for a nice stay at her husband's (and G.W.B's) shiny new hotel in rubbelised Haiti that got built with donations from the populace who believed they were going to help the citizens of Haiti.

Oh well. She is indeed uniquely qualified to run the empire. She ought to be admired but not for anything good.

When Bush's government lost 2.3 trillion dollars the money was never found.

I guess we will have to put this inquiry in the pile of other inquiries.

I am sure Republicans will find the 6 billion after they find the 2.3 trillion, they are looking for that money for sure!

And in an unrelated story, the CBO stated that the cost for the 2016 election would be @ 6 billion dollars. . . . .

. . . . Hillary is a crook. Plain and simple.

She is a good politician. Plain and simple.

I am not sure...

Did you guys figure out what happened to the 2.3 trillion Bush lost?

I am under the impression Bush employed lawyers too.

So what the hell does that have to do with the op?

Don't want to discuss it ?

So the tried, and epically failed bring Bush in to the discussion deflection.

No. Unless criminal intent is shown.

I'm sure the DoD found some of it, just more bad "paperwork."

Bad record keeping is a bi-partisan job requirement it seems. I'm sure in this case Hillary knew nothing about it. Now don't be surprised if a Boeing 747 doesn't crash into the State Department's budget office sometime in the near future.

What missing money?

Debunked: "The Pentagon cannot track $2.3 trillion in transactions"

or is it "black ops" ?

I don't think lawyers deal with much of the records management. That would more on the bureaucratic side of things.

You know like CLinton,Biden, and the Potus.

Yeah they do deal with records, and get rid of anything they don't like.

It has everything to do with the OP.

Bush and Dick lost 2,300,000,000,000.00

In their case the money was never found or looked for.

It is so nice that all of you are concerned for 6 billion, but don't the lot of you think it would be more important to find
2.3 Trillion dollars?

The 2.3 Trillions that Bush lost is 380 TIMES more money so I suspect that if they could not find that sum, it is unreasonable to expect them to find a sum that is paltry in comparison.
