Republicans spend a lot of energy on trying to block people from voting, and now finally a court has taking a stand against it. Too bad this was two years ago. Hopefully this will set a precedent though, and maybe slow down their assault on peoples' voting rights.

I'm against any group or party that engages in voting related issues that are unethical, or illegal, and having said that, I was thinking that if the media also went after "the other party" for voting fraud, maybe this would also help.. Did you know that your party caused by their illegal actions, hundreds of thousands of votes in multiple states who were dead and some had identical SSN's as those in other states to vote 2 or 3 times? Have you also sent letters condemning those activities, or do you only go after improprieties when it is the GOP?

Just curious, because when either side cheats or does anything unethical with America's voting integrity, that it affects everyone in a bad way. It probably won't stop until they burn down every electronic system when they are connected to any network.

ThAts the thing this keeps coming back two. The two sides always pointing fingers towards the other, all the while they are doing the same things we keep blowing so much steam over.

We need to abolish the two party system and allow better debates for other candidates so the people really have a choice to make the change the majority of the country wants.

Would you have expected anything but this?

One day things will change. I am losing faith that it will be the will of the people to get the change started.

Studies have shown repeatedly that voter fraud is insignificant and wildly exaggerated by the GOP who is only interested in unconstitutionally decreasing access to voting for most people.

Purging fake and illegal voters is good, doing it 90 days before a election is not good and btw the court ruled:

In Tuesday’s 2-to-1 ruling, the 11th Circuit panel said that the two plaintiffs in a lawsuit – two foreign-born but naturalized women – were directly injured by the purge after their names were thrown out by mistake.

Does it matter that legal voters were being purged?

That is just complete BS, because a real investigation by an independent party would show exactly who did what, but neither party wanted this since THEY BOTH CHEAT..

Please get a grip on yourself and learn how "right and wrong" effects the entire population.. Just looking at short term gains by looking the other way when you know your own party cheats is not helping our country in the long run, and is in fact insuring it's demise. Do you really want that? Because then everyone loses.. Like we are now, but it will get much worse if people in either party don't unite to stamp out all BS. If you don't agree, then your position of acceptance of unethical things is confirmed even more than now. And what that means is it exposes your words everywhere as having no integrity..

Only you can change you. Same with everyone.. Start doing what is right, not what gains you a cheap bonus that won't last.
Instead, do something that will actually help America succeed so EVERYONE benefits and the country can prosper.

Continue on otherwise and you help this country fall just like ROME.

This looks like a classic stall job.

Just enough time to get by the November elections.

Nit Picky

and....

Florida had argued that both women were ultimately allowed to vote

and....

The names of the two women, who were from Nicaragua and Haiti, were on one of the early purge lists.
not the final lists?

So how 'bout the genuine illegal voters?

The state broke the law according to the court. What about that?

Actually, it's semi-preliminary.

Florida is now reviewing whether it will ask the entire 11th Circuit Court to review the panel’s finding.

I said before it's a stall tactic to get through the elections.

I think they only "infringed" on the only two people that were semi-affected and ultimately made whole.

Unless we can see the entire case documents and the entire panel's finding papers, we can assume this was not a ruling on the entire case, only part of it.

And 90% of the article is off on tangents. There seems to be no link to the case itself. Very suspicious.

It's Nit Picky and Picayune.

Every one should want to block fraudulent votes. The premise of the op/and linked article is faulty. If it were honest it would have the word fraudulent before votes. It is no secret that the dems have committed massive voter fraud in at least the last two elections. It would be good to put a stop to it. Id's should be mandatory and they should use ink to stain the the fingers of the voters as they did in afganistan or some other means to prevent one from voting multiple times.

One women admitted to voting for pres. oblunder 5 times and she was greeted as a hero by the dems. Actions speak louder than words.

Playing fan boy for either political party is foolish as they are both corrupt and neither is working on our behalf.

For most people?

Care to spell out your argument for it being unconstitutional?

I don't think this court ruling will stop the desperate republicans from continuing this illegal tactic.

As far as I can tell nboody should support this.
