People who have doubted Obama's ability to change things and have said he is just as bad as Bush have not been following very closely. Look at the number of U.S. soldier's killed in combat Bush vs. Obama. and even in Libya were zero U.S. soldiers died or were even placed on the ground as Obama promised.

So far in 2014 about 1900 US Military personnel have committed suicide plus we have another Fort Hood shooter, these conflicts are still killing people and will for years to come.

I'm still wondering why Obama and the White House hasn't said much if anything about this?

Very puzzling since it would surly help them with the positive publicity for a change.

Something is being hidden me thinks.

Bush's policies lead to American deaths Obama's policies lead to this. Its good that no American soldiers died in combat isn't it?

Absolutely great.

But where has Obama actually mentioned this?

Fishy.

I'm all for this. It's good news. And once we get the hell out of these places, which can't be soon enough, the zero will stick.

icasualties.org...

No US person died in Afghan in March, but one from NATO and one from the UK did...in non-hostile ways (that means in an accident or the equivalent)

And it didn't last because we already lost one in April, it seems. Again, non-hostile.

Yup.

That must be it.

Those suicides out number the "not killed in action".

This news is no more Obama's accomplishment than any other politician.

This has everything to do with US and Coalition forces taking a step back and letting the Afghan National Police, Army, and ANSF take the lead. Our operations are no longer expeditionary. They are deliberate operations and are heavily partnered with Afghan forces.

These are military tactics, not political ones.

This is a sign that the wars are coming to a close and ending!

Afghanistan just held an election were they voted freely.

Iraq is over

Iran did not happen

Syria did not happen

All these predictions people make of alleged upcoming war end up being way off.
