Meh. Calling in is too tedious. Besides, I don't have a dog in this race. Why wait to eviscerate the OP till the show? Why not do it here, in the thread?

Have you not read this thread? What more do you expect me to do?

It's easy to use the podcast platform to grandstand, putting other members down as if your show gives you more authority than the members that you disagree with. You do it, often, with a mocking tone, just like you do when you post.

It's a radio program where the hosts, of whom I am one, present their perspectives on threads that are posted to ATS. What do you expect me to do, sing the praises of Kevin Annett and this thread, simply because I feel like discussing it on the show? The premise of this thread is a hoax, and I fully intend to declare it as such.

If you don't like it, don't listen to it, and if you disagree with me, or anyone else, call in and state your opinion. "Calling in is too tedious" is the lamest excuse I've ever heard for being content to sit back, complain about others' opinions, and refuse to put your own neck on the line.

That's an interesting way of looking at it and the war is ever continuing ('mocassins on the ground'), now against the oil seekers(government (Crown) and elitist profit mongers) looking to lay their pipeline or better known as the 'black snake' (future environmental catastrophe) in pristine wilderness (life-giving water) and traditional hunting grounds.

The native people have even gone so far as to fire one of their Chiefs.

"The battle lines have already been drawn in tribal council chambers. The Oglala Sioux Tribe passed a resolution Friday banning TransCanada and former AFN national chief Phil Fontaine, who has been hired by the energy firm to deal with First Nations opposition to its Energy East project in Canada, from entering its territory."

That mocking tone and critical attitude that attacks the person instead of focusing on the issues is a major turn off for me.

From my viewpoint it really makes it hard to take a person seriously when they say things like this.

It also reeks of an implied agenda.

… says the man who posts all manner of absolute rubbish, so long as it's in favour of his anti-Catholic agenda.

My ONLY agenda, and I think anyone who knows me and is familiar with my posts on ATS would agree, is that I am extremely intolerant of BS. If you want to go off on the Catholic Church because you don't like their theology, have at it. On some points, I might even agree with you. If you want to have at the Canadian government for its treatment of First Nations People over the past hundred years, and you do so based on the actual evidence of said mistreatment, I'm right there with you.

But if you want to base your argument on abject fantasies, dreamed up by delusional nutjobs like Kevin Annett or Alberto Rivera, I'm going to call you on that every time, and if you persist on ignoring the facts in favour of these deluded fantasies, it is not unreasonable to lump you right in there with the biased bigots whose fantasies you prefer to the facts.

Posters on ATS should be judged on their content, and someone who promotes any claim, no matter how ridiculous, simply because it jibes with their pre-existing biases, earns the respect that they get. I believe that we should be nurturing critical thinking, rather than suppressing it, as far too many people seem to be in favour of.

As I have said many times in the past, if you don't want to defend nonsense, don't post it in the first place.

As I said, I have no dog in this race. I fully believe that these atrocities happened, and that governments and the "Church" were complicit.

Sure, the "court" is unauthorized and ineffective. So what. What they are saying is/was true.

Discussing the thread in an ATS review type radio pod cast is one thing, and one thing that most of the hosts do. But using the podcast to blast one opinion, yours, throughout the ATS community above and beyond what this thread has done, and what the OP has been trying to accomplish, as if your opinion is the final authority is NOT the purpose for these pod casts. And, I've seen/heard you do just that! And, you do it in a mocking and insulting tone, to boot!

No, I won't be calling in to remark on your opinion. That what threads are for!

It doesn't really matter if it's true or not, Annett sensationalized it and tells others to go and arrest public figures for it, this causes people to get arrested for illegal arrests, or attempts to, it all goes back to Sovvie Woo that I have very very little tolerance for, because 99.9 of the time these people end up getting violent in their "pursuit of justice" and it makes OUR jobs a hell of a lot harder when we have these people sitting saying they will arrest US for whatever.. (and no I don't work or live in Canada.. )

I do see that Annett may be delusional in thinking he can arrest the people he claims are responsible for the mass deaths at the school. But, I agree with his "cause", and I commend him for trying.

It takes a great person to bring about change for the better, get people to open their eyes and stand up to TPB.
Look at Martin Luther King. Do you also call him a nutjob? Were his efforts in vain?

Small steps lead to bigger steps, and hopefully, justice in the end.

I'm not sure how you can even get past the fact that he claims Stephen Harper is guilty of crimes that took place before he was born, or that Pope Francis and Queen Elizabeth are somehow responsible.

That said, I'd like to post something from the ITCCS website, put up by two of Annett's stooges who went to the Vatican last week to arrest Queen Elizabeth and Pope Francis, but who were chased off by local security. I've underlined the most important bit.

It is clear to us that the Italian government is actively colluding in protecting the convicted criminal Elizabeth Windsor. We recommend that greater force be employed by us in the future and that we rely on better intelligence on the movements of those to be arrested or served. We also ask the Court to issue a formal note of protest to the Italian government for its actions today and that the Court attempt to deputize local police forces to help us. (Sou rce)

I'm not sure how anyone thinks that Annett is just a harmless nut -- the way things are going, this ain't going to end well.

I haven't read up on this part enough to comment, if that's what he thinks.
I think what he's doing is naming those people who are in charge of the countries, or church, now that haven't responded to the cries of the Natives.
You said they did pay some money and apologized. But from what I've read, they haven't done all that was needed, or requested by the Natives.
When you compare the money paid to the price of mass killings, and the suffering they endured, I think the amount paid is small potatoes.

Do you believe this ?

Kevin Annett also revealed the existence of a secret document confirming that Popes are required to be initiated into the Ninth Circle Satanic cult involving child sacrifice and drinking of its blood as part of the Magisterial Privilege to assume Papal office. “The witness claim to have seen both former Pope John Paul the Second, Karol Wotyja, and Pope Benedict, Joseph Ratzinger, participate at Ninth Circle rituals held at Catholic cathedrals and a forest grove in France” said George Dufort of the Common Law court. The curia and Cardinals also engage in the Nith Circle. If effect, the Pope and the Cardinals are a “Satanic Coven”, Kevin Annett agreed.

I believe that 99.9% of the leaders in our society have been, and are presently, psychopaths. Psychopaths don't experience emotions the same way as most people and find situations that make them feel something.

And, oh yeah, Satan is a Christian deity.

Wow... Something that left you speechless on the whole validity of Mr Annet's moviemaking claims... I would have thought that you would at least acknowledge the fact that this, THIS is the person that is doing all of these "trials" and demanding that his faithful go arrest these people.. THIS is the person that is responsible for his one man crusade against every windmill known to man, this is the man that has such close ties to the One People's Public Trust nonsense that he thinks it's actually happened that the world was foreclosed upon and he's the interim ruler of Kaneta (what was as he says Canada) because Canada was dissolved by HIM...and the OPPT.

He's a pusher of much Woo, and needs to be stopped before someone get seriously injured..

No comment is hardly appropriate talking about Annett and his one man judiciary.

Which is the extraordinary affirming claim? The Pope is a secret Satanist that eats babies, or that he is not?

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, not no evidence, which is what Annett has provided ("George Dufort" is one of Annett's documented aliases.)

Though you do have to give credit to someone who makes such ridiculous claims while sitting on the loo, though… credibility, thy name is not Kevin Annett, lol.

It reminds me of Maurice Moss's dating video on an episiode of the IT Crowd.

I have been inside an old residential school. I'm not superstitious but It's eerie. However, the stories of abuse, both sexual and physical, are too great to deny. It can be seen in the faces and heard in the voices of those who tell them. It is legitimate genocide and the purging of one culture by another.

All the more reason to be angry that it is being hijacked by a crazy white guy for his own personal gain.

Haven't seen you around the boards in a while, LesMis, it's good to see you back.

A "crazy white guy" who speaks the truth trumps a spiteful disillusioned pseudo-skeptic every time.

From my viewpoint it REALLY makes it hard to take a person seriously when all they do is attack, ridicule, discredit and suppress anything and everything.

Hate ALWAYS serves an agenda whether you agree with it or not.

Good luck with that.

Like I said earlier, want people to take you seriously?

Ditch the slander and hate...

Is the Queen cowering in her castle, hiding from the arrest warrants that have been issued for her? - See more at: www.abovetopsecret.com...

You bet she is! Do you think the queen would last for one minute without her security detail and body guards? People would string her up in heart beat, and not just some crazy Canadian white guy either.

Annett claims one in three children who went through the Residential Schools died in the process. He has absolutely no evidence to support this claim, and even those highly critical of the government role in this matter say that he's full of it. That is hardly "speaking the truth". What he's speaking is what you, who have never done the slightest amount of actual research into this issue, want to believe is true.

From my viewpoint it REALLY makes it hard to take a person seriously

Do you really think I care if you take me seriously?

You're a myopic anti-Catholic who wouldn't believe that Annett was lying if God himself came down and told you.
