Most definitely. I guess the odd thing is when in the holy-handgrenade-hell has Federal authorities EVER announced intended, plan-specifics before via a news outlet? Sure, they've said things like "information from credible sources indicate that plans for an attack....blah blah" but never anything as specific as a name, a location and an M.O.


Something smells fishy in the heart o Texas and I'm not talkin about the upflow from the gulf ..

They have reported now that first shots were reported at 4:30, but they have also had witnesses reporting shots at 5:20. Not clear if that is just bad witness accounts, or is that multiple shooting incidents?

My wife and son are there now,
I happen to be deployed at the moment...

Talk about a helpless feeling.

They are safe though.

I'm beginning to think its cursed, I was discharged from there got my first article 15 there, never had any kind of problems til I got to The Hood

These reporters are doing a pretty good job. They are being careful not to speculate too much on casualties...etc.

ETA: They did say there are witness' stating they think it was a white male in a gray sedan, like a Honda accord or Nissan Maxima...something like that.

I feel a little tense and on edge, mainly for my family.

I'm watching the live news feed, they say swat just showed up, and there are 21 ambulances there, and the shooter is still at large..

They are talking to someone on base that is reporting it as it is going on.

Saying they were told to close ventilation systems too.

They just reported to turn off the air ventilation systems in addition to sheltering in place. Hopefully that is just protocol and precaution. But pass it on to those families who are still on base.

Rumors that the shooter worked in a medical facility.

Incidents like this really go to show just how amazing First Responders are. Seems to be lots of medical personnel and police en route. I hope they catch these people alive. This is truly awful.

I'm hearing over the scanner that they believe they have found the BOLO vehicle.
