IMO, this is easily one of the most powerful and INTENSE vocals laid down on a single track..
Absolutely stunning!!!

Good call battles

For me it has to be this track, The Seer by Swans.
The build up and release of tension is incredible. The whole album needs to be listened as one though to truly appreciate the genius.

Ah, Swans, they were great back in the day. (nostalgia takes hold)

Who could forget "Money is Flesh"?

And yet still, here I am a grateful and proselytizing capitalist. Who'd have thunk it?

We Can't Make It Here Anymore - James Mcmurty
Just replace Bush with any press and this piece becomes timeless, a haunting reality

The Seer was by far my favourite album of 2012, also has a nice cameo appearance from Karen O on 'Song for a Warrior'

I had not actually heard their original stuff before this album and it does not disappoint. I still love the Seer to work to it seems to tap into my brain and clears out the crap making more focused.

Oh, you're in for a treat!

Some of their early stuff may have only been on cassette but, i think most of it is on youtube.

Enjoy!

This is the most intense song I've heard recently. I got turned on to it because of a recent thread. I think that Lana Del Rey is an Illuminati puppet (if you examine the lyrics you'll see a veiled referenced to being illuminated), but it doesn't make the song any less beautiful. I usually like electronic music. This song reminds me of the 90s... okay enough talk, time to hear the music. (I need to learn how to be quiet, even I'm getting on my nerves.)

This is called 'Nautical Twilight' by Tori Amos.
I like a lot of this woman's music but this is one of my favourites.

next one on the list for me right now...........

this one pulls a lot of new energy to my space...Music is a translation tool. In the middle there are energies....that are new to this plane. But of course: taste is not absolute....for some it will make some new things available. For some : it won´t .
The whole arrangement does only work as a whole for me....
