Hi,

what is the most intense Music you heard in a long period of time..

For me it is this: i heard it first when it came out ..i guess one year ago or so.
Every time i hear it: at 1 minute and 42 seconds...everytime i hear this part...I get into a really intense state of "emotions"....not really sad or happy or anything..Just intense...

Which tracks do make you feel like that?

Great idea for a thread! That is a nice crescendo, I am a synth fan and love to hear tastefully executed keys.

As far as intensity and great music, the Cocteau Twins cover of Tim Buckley's "Song to the Siren" still blows my mind. Prepare for exquisite chills!

Note: I have noticed that music sounds a little better when played directly in youtube instead of playing from a frame for some reason.

For me it's this track

The Last Emperor ft. Too Poetic (R.I.P.) - One Life

www.youtube.com...

because the 2nd verse by Too Poetic is about his own experience with colon cancer. The song really touches me because when i first heard it my dad was having cancer himself too and he past away 13th February this year. So this song always gives me goosebumbs and gets me emotional like no other song can do.

Awesome track, I thought I was the only one that ever heard of them.

Reminds me on The Doors and Skinny Puppy on '___'!

This one hits home for me:

The whole video tells a story that so many of us can understand lately. Even if you don't like the genre... give the lyrics a chance.

Laibach is great, they are a bit hard to get anyone to listen to because of their schtick but, they really are an interesting bunch of nut cases. Throbbing Gristle too if you are into industrial/experimental music.

The first one is my all time favorite Jazz song.. The second one is from my favorite album at the moment; It's a Wonderful Life by the genius that is Mark Linkous. Enjoy!

Oh dear god, you should hand out tissues with that one. That hit me like a brick wall...

For me...I only listened to this song once, and that was it. I get so emotional that I have not listened to it since. She is Maritime Canadian talent, and I first heard of her live on CBC radio.
*** Hands out tissues

Well, ignoring the op and going by the title only, i would say this is the most intense track, 300 ft high flames is very intense

On topic with the op though, if by intense you mean could possibly cause someone to be too scared to sleep try this

or perhaps your looking for something more like this?

I totally agree, everyones ears are different.
Another song I get emotional over is:

I think it's one of the most beautiful, touching videos ever produced! So simple yet so strong. . .

I can't tell what track I found intense lately, but I can make you hear an intense voice, that I discovered lately; Brody Dalle's... Man, I'm in love with her like I was a teenager again... lol sigh! ( Where was I in the last 15 years, man... )

I can't remember a singer with such a sexy mouth. At least, it is for me.

And I also love her husband's band, Queens of the Stone Age. Yeah, she's married... lol

I think all their songs are intense.

PS: Dang. I hope the links work... :/
