September 2011, I saw something, very odd. At this point I want to make it clear that I had been in the Navy a few years and seen, first-hand the capabilities of our aircraft and foreign, the way they look when they fly through the sky at coasting and attack speeds.

Just to explain, next to my training to use the equipment and systems of a Royal Navy warship, I held the rank of an Able Rating Class 1, Warfare Specialist, I held the marksman badge and was top academic student in phase 2 training. I was the deputy class leader in phase 1 and I trained every day to be the best in what I did. As well as numerous side courses including one Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Disaster clean up team. Nothing special, this is just to give you the idea that I had a fair amount of knowledge in an array of stuff, which the tax payer paid for, which is completely useless in day to day civilian life... seriously.

We training every Thursday in the armed forces they have what they so secretively call, ‘Thursday Wars’. During these ‘wars’ a vast number of aircraft, ships, boats, submarines and what we call ‘paper assets’ which do not really exist, but we simulate them in terms of their presence and weaponry, capability’s and behaviors, that sort of thing, to have a pretend war, where people attack and defend and move strategically through the areas. All the stops are pulled out and we are in full war mode as the ship and its crew prepares for war. All the fire retardant suits, masks, gloves and body armour are thrown together, the radio frequencies are determined for friendly air craft and ‘ship to ship’, command lines. With pretend impact of weapons on the ships and “BRACE, BRACE, BRACE’ are called out over the tannoys, and shooting downs of air craft and ships sunk. All the code words are used over the air waves from things like ‘Vampire’ (surface to air missile) to ‘Pop-Eye’ (a breaking in the cloud which an air craft is firing from). We have Operation Room briefs for all the upper deck gunners, war room officials, commanders and those with Ops Room clearance, like myself. Here is where you understand the point of why you joined in the first place.

So every Thursday we would see air craft, and given the chance on a good day, I would point my 20mm Gambo ‘cannon’ at them and fire blanks at them. FUN!

So every Thursday I would be either on the ‘plot’ sitting at the screen watching radar, where I could get a detailed view of the craft that was passing over and around us, speeds, course and height. Or I’d be doing the ‘Blam-Blam’ thing and getting eye to eye contact with the dare devil maverick that would fly less than 20 feet above the forecastle (foaxle, front of the ship) and give us the finger…. Good times.

And so every Thursday, I would get first hand knowledge of what and how traditional aircraft fly.
Back in September 2011, what I saw was undoubtedly ‘not’ an aircraft of this world. Not by a long shot.
I was on my way to my mate’s house, I was home on leave, and I think it was a Saturday night so it could have been the 3rd, 10th, 17th or 24th of September 2011, when I turned onto the A166 that links the coastal city Bridlington to the West of York heading towards York. When I noticed two, very large distinguishable lights hovering in the sky above the hills that I had just drove from. I say hovering, because I was watching them for quite a while and they did not look to be moving at all.

The first thing that I thought of was, and I said this out loud, “Bloody hell, there flying close to be aircraft!”
“Why are they so bright?” Then the obvious started to happen in my head, what they are, what could they be … After around 8 to 10 seconds of keen observation I had just about decided that they were not what I had first thought, Jets. Then, out of no ware, they started moving, quite quickly.

I was amazed, stationary to moving at a speed I had never seen before, now I really was completely baffled, I slowed down to just under forty MPH to stay safe, then this happened…

In almost a second, the first one on the left, just bolted! It bolted at a speed I had never seen in my life, way in excess of Mach 5 or even 6 or 7!
"WHAT THE F***?!! What the hell of f*** is that f***ing thing?!" Then the other chased after it at the same pace!

“Jesus F***ing Christ!!!" I shouted, I booted it, I flatted my 2.0 BMW pedal to the floor and rocketed after them, after a few seconds, id barely got over 60, they disappeared over the horizon line, blocked by trees adjacent to the car, I panicked with over excitement of what I had just seen, fag in mouth and phone to the ear, I rang my mother, then I rang my mate to tell them what I had just seen!

Now I know, even to this day, I can see them in my head, that the way they moved where solid, I mean that the way they moved they were objects, not a light or a bloody bit of rock from space, they accelerated in such a way they were some sort of craft, blasting around above a small village in East Yorkshire in the post code of YO42. What the hell had I just seen, and had anyone else seen it?

Over the following months and years, I had looked into a lot of things. I first came across a gent who specifically did research into unidentified objects that had been seen flying in and around, the Garrowby area, post code, YO42.
Wow, what a guy he was, he had found and had video evidence of a number of reports that had spanned quite a few years of these objects, in and around the area, involving tens if not hundreds of reports from locals and himself, of these things flying around in day and night.

I emailed him in regards to what I had seen, and do you know, he posted it on his website, nice that I thought, someone ruddy believes me, what I had seen. But then I wasn't happy. I wanted to know more about what I had seen. For god sake I had witnessed something that not a lot of people had seen or even believed in, I was now part of a minority of people. Or so I thought.

The facts and evidence I have found about this subject is truly, overwhelming. The more I look, the more I find, the doors it opens to new ideas and a ‘true’ way of thinking. There is a reason we all hate each other you know, and there is a reason that now one believes these people that ‘claim’ to have seen things in the night sky.

This was taken of the location from Google maps of where the sighting took place. Any information regarding these type of sightings is very welcomed, especially any that have been seen in this area, however unlikely that may be.

Pretty amazing sighting. Did anyone else see the same things? Did you tell anyone else?

Fascinating story, thanks!

My idea about this phenomenon: Maybe it was a reflection - on low hanging clouds or some fog - of headlights of a car, coming up that hill you saw in front of you.

As you reversed your car, you might have just missed it by seconds.

Very cool tale. I'd like to check that village out... These things are widely reported, at least, if you use a little creativity and connect some dots for yourself. For example:

This pilot sighting (South of England)

And this video (Scotland), showing two things chasing each other and having almost mechanical/magnetic movement.

(See at 2:58 the leading object make an extremely odd course change, too bad video interference happens right around that point)

And countless other night vision videos of the same things, countless pilot reports of "objects traveling past us at unimaginable speed" etc. Let alone my own sightings of these things zipping about the sky. They're out there, above us here in the UK - we're lucky we get so many of them to be honest, yet sadly still no clear answers whatsoever. Whether they're attracted to particular areas or not I don't know - but I doubt it - as a witness to their speed yourself, you can understand how they could pretty much traverse the country in not long at all and just pop up "anywhere" effectively.

These objects, moving stars, fastwalkers - whatever you want to call them - the dots of light that move at unconventional speeds - are the things I'm currently most interested in. So always good to read a story like yours that backs up their existence even further, thanks! S&F

Yes, "fascinating story," but isn't it funny, how some people will grab at any possible explanation to totally deny what a witness sees of a mysterious sight and never leave room for it being somewhat as the witness described.

That is denial at its root when a reasonable account is given by an experienced witness that does not contain undue elaboration that automatically deems it hogwash and a comment from a passerby dismisses it as everything that it appears to be.

Excellent post!

Did you get any indication of shape?
Retrograde motion effect ruled out in speed?
Was this the only time you've seen objects in this area?
Any other listing coinciding with this event by other people?
Are you privy to the next gen. tech. americans and brits share?

Sorry in a rush hope to talk to you soon. . .S&F

That sounds like a awesome experence you had there. I'm curious, did the gentleman you emailed have anymore to say about it, or did others see it that night as well?

Only curious because you said so much about everything else, but didn't elaborate too much on that point.

Excellent work at describing your sighting. It leaves very little to the imagination with the clear way that you presented it.

Alas, someone will remind us that eyewitnesses are notoriously unreliable... but screw them. You saw what you saw.

The skeptic in me wants to lament your title. How do we know its not human? I just think there's a possibility that it IS from this world, where the elite have pioneered technology far beyond what we know about. According to Phil Schneider the government black ops have been advancing 1000 years ahead in technology for every year that goes by since the 1930's.

I'm not saying I don't believe in aliens. I'm just saying if you see a CRAFT then you didn't see an alien. I've had a UFO abduction experience, and I've had the bad dreams that go along with that. Its all pretty circumstantial, to use court language. Could be the CIA is behind all the abduction experiences.

So they flew away at 5,6 or possibly Mach 7 and in your infinite wisdom thought flooring the gas pedal in a 2L BMW would achieve what exactly

other than wrapping yourself like a wet duvet around the next tree, why on Earth did you think you could gain some distance.... lolololololololo

Great story...By the way.

Rare that a sighting with no evidence other than the persons story gets any attention, but I can see this getting top page pretty fast. Really well thought out explanation mate, bravo for the detail it really didn't leave much to the imagination

I'v had one my self, but I'd struggle to get out as much detail as you have. Great post mate

I was having a debate recently with a friend over recent report that Earth Quake lights, the lights that sometimes appear just before or during an earth quake, were the answer to this kind of UFO sighting.

But Given that I know the area you are talking about well, there is no obvious fault line or unusual geology in the area.

My best guess as to what these are, would be highly experimental drones, using some new kind of propulsion.

Did you notice any sounds?

I realize it was at night... but did these craft leave any exhaust or vapor trail?

I don't think there is enough evidence to say this is 'not of this earth' just that it does not conform with the norms we are used to. This would suggest one of two things in my mind which must be discounted before we look up and wonder....

1. Could these be highly secret military or privately funded experimental aircraft?

2. Could there be a natural phenomena that could explain what you saw?

If you can find evidence that neither of the two are correct, then and only then can we call 'It Came from Space'

Peace & Respect,

Korg.

Ha, I told a few people. You can guess what kind of a reaction I was getting. So I left it for a few years, always pondering, looking for more signs of life. But that night, that event, changed the way I see the world forever. I suppose it would be like an avid church go'er seeing God or something. It was real, it was a fact, and it was my own experience. Truly amazed.

But under what basis do experimental drones etc always visit tiny rural villages?

You'd think they'd be interested in nuclear sites, enemy territory and top secret locations, if it's one of OUR super-powers behind them. Not little villages. Plus the fact these have been seen for many decades, you'd have thought they would've completed their testing twenty years ago and then put it to use, rather than continuously visiting tiny villages forever more?

It's that point that constantly bugs me about the "experimental technology" line of enquiry.

No mate, I was traveling forward the hole time. I used to work on a building site (great idea to discuss this with builders....yea...) they through the lot at me mate. I am a trained aviation observer my friend, I could tell the difference. They we're craft, if I could somehow recreate this Computer Graphically then I would, then you could see, this was a craft.

at Mach 7 you would visit a fair few locations....

Though to be fair... if I was planning an operation I wouldn't choose any place anyone was or is likely to be....

If this were little green men... why would they be interested in a small village also?? Works both ways your logic.

Peace,

Korg.

Skip to 7mins 10secs, this is the closest representation of the type of movement that had occurred. Its a great feeling to watch this video, to see it on film. I saw the same thing, that is why there is no doubt in my mind that this footage is as real as it comes.

I personally would be happier if the story didn't sound like a work of fiction. I just feels like something im reading out of a short story and not a witness testimony by a Warfare Specialist & top academic student in phase 2 training . But thats just my opinion.
