Ted Cruz Doesn't Understand Green Eggs and Ham

When Ted Cruz sabotaged his fake filibuster in Congress by actually voting yes on the bill he was filibustering against that was just the start. When he attempted to read Green Eggs and Ham he forgot the the moral of the story is that in the end "He Likes It"

Is this the kind of child play that we need if we want change? Ted Cruz embarasses all that is independent thinking in the united states.

Cruz said the children's book is one of his favorites, and he read it in its entirety as part of his effort to delay action on a bill to defund Obamacare. Cruz supports defunding Obamacare, but was trying to drag out debate to prevent Democrats from killing the bill. But Schumer said Cruz completely missed the point of the story. "I was appalled," the New York senator told reporters Wednesday. "Green Eggs and Ham has a moral: Don't criticize something, don't reject something, until you actually try it. Sam said he didn't like green eggs and ham for a long time. And then when he finally tried it, he liked it." "Maybe Ted Cruz, once Obamacare occurred, might actually like it," Schumer said, still shaking his head over the book. "I don't know if he read it."

I remember enjoying this quite a bit. It is just a terrible shame how out of touch and completely wrapped up in their own bull# to do anything remotely in our best interest. Same goes for Dems to be fair. The whole collective is infected. They dont care, the people dont care, we are boned. The gaps get bigger everyday. The population gets dumber everyday. The poor get poorer. The rich get richer.

I am beginning to think our only hope might just be some absolutely determined billionaire who has no interest in any money and only wants to fix problems.

Yes, I'm aware he read the Dr. Seuss story, I watched him on C-span while he did so.

Cruz read the tale at 8 p.m., about five hours into his speechifying, saying he was doing it for his two daughters for their bedtime while they were watching C-Span, back home in Texas. He explained that while it was one of his favorite stories, he seldom got the chance to read it to his children because they get to pick the stories, and they don't ask for that one. Cruz also read Bible verses.

Cruz's chief strategist, Jason Johnson, who was apparently on hand for bedtime back in Texas, snapped a photo of the girls, Catherine and Caroline.

To be honest, there was that much Hot Air coming from the Book that the pages turned themselves.

I did need Nose Plugs though. I don't know if it was the Canadian Bacon or the Cuban Cigars, but something stunk!

Regardless. A man who passionately railed against Obamacare over and over again to the point of going through a marathon filibuster about it chose to read a story about a character who hates something so much that he swears over and over that he doesnt like but then tries it and finds out he loves it. It's irony to the millionth degree. He is an idiot. His followers are idiots. Its a big show and anyone who takes these sociopaths seriously is no longer thinking clearly.

Again ... it appears the poster is someone with a bit of a history here that I am unaware of but that doesnt stop the post from being absolutely correct. All stars a post counts aside this one is clear as day and someone with your history here should be above this sort of childish BS.

These guys are obviously Democrats so of-course theyre going to criticize the GOP.

The odd part is how they're pretending not to be Democrats, posing as Libertarians or Conservatives who are "disappointed" with their "own" in an effort to splinter the vote.

And the pattern is consistent.

Pose as a Libertarian or Conservative then attack all the GOP Presidential candidates.

Unlike the Left, the Right is more willing to criticize their own. We're calling out the frauds in the GOP. Dont hear squat from the Dems.

I'll admit that I'm disappointed with Ted Cruz but mostly because hes turning out to be a neocon.

Hes ALMOST as bad as HILLARY (is that even possible).

Regardless, I'll be supporting Rand Paul for President.

While hes not perfect, I think hes our best hope.

Another tidbit is that Teddie Cruz is actually not educated enough to know that Dr. Seuss was a communist sympathizer and noted socialist. Eventhough Democrats today are more Democratic Socialist vs. Socialist which is a huge difference.

I laughed when this happened. It was comedy relief.
