Why are you looking outside of yourself for help/answers?

The 'dark side' obviously appeals to you, why is that?

Well I do not run away when I hear that evil is lurking nearby. I frequently deal with evil. I work at a deliverance ministry which often deals with infestations of evil within both Christians and non-Christians and evil appears to attract both kinds of people...both the good and the bad.

Have you never heard, To fight the enemy; one must first know the enemy.

So I would like to hear your stories on how you got involved and why?

Satan is as real as Santa Clause. Santa...Satan....hmmmm "the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist"

Or he really doesn't exist and all the Satan worshipers are worshiping a fairy tale

To follow Christ, you should attempt to emulate Christ. Before you go out looking for lost souls, perhaps you could start WITHIN, and find those who wear the cool Christian clothing and jewelry, but have yet to display their Christ like behavior.

Clean your house before you point out your neighbors dirty floor.

Why do you believe there has to be a Satan?

Is God so mundane that he cannot have power without an adversary?

Why would a follower of Christ even offer a moments thought to evil?

If you devoted the energy you are giving to Satan, to Jesus, wouldn't that make Jesus stronger? At least in your heart?

Do you not believe in Satan or in an evil one with great power. One who has authority and power over mankind? I do.

My heart is full of Jesus , this does not mean I should not learn the other side? What I prefer to call "lost souls" how do you expect to convert one if you do not know who they are and what they feel?

Hey guy, are you going to ignore my point that you are making up a completely false religion and assigning it to people who worship a religion with a similar name? Just because YOU believe that there is some all evil dude living in a hole somewhere wanting nothing more than to just be evil for evil's sake, doesn't mean that someone else who believes in some dude with the same name believes that.

I'm not even a Satanist, but I'd find that highly insulting to have my religion GROSSLY misrepresented by some ignorant person on the internet. Christians get mighty upset on these boards when atheists misrepresent or assign beliefs to them that they do not hold. How about fair play all around? Don't assume things about others' religions, especially if you don't know anything about it.

Every single day. Sometimes he convinces me to make that choice I know is wrong, sometimes he runs away with his pointy tail between his legs. Sometimes I am strong, other times weak...its a daily battle. This is the Holy War, the Jihad.

Human and animal sacrifices ongoing to Satan and to demons seeking answers to their questions or keeping a promise made to Satan and by keeping their promise they will continue to have want they want.

Satanic bands preforming worldwide with young women and men wearing T-shirts that say, "I FU*) for Satan". Other bringing animals to these performances and slaughtering them.

1. Have you met him and if so what does he look like?

Its a ludicrous notion, as Satan doesn't exist the way you seem to think he does. It is merely symbolism.m

Nope. I'd have better luck praying to my dog.

There is no worship of satan contrary to the popularly misinformed belief of not just Christians but the majority of the world.

I don't normally go around discussing this aspect of my life or my beliefs, but the misinformation here is pretty disturbing and needs to be corrected. As a follower of LaVeyan philosophy I can assure you that you simply have no clue what you're talking about. It's reminds me of the 80's satanic panic when listening to Slayer and playing dungeons and dragons put you in league with the powers of evil. It's a pile of poop.

As fr what is attractive about the philosophy, its not about worshipping evil deities or being an evil person at all. laVeyan Satanism is an atheistic philosophy within which "Satan" is merely a character who is symbolic of pride, enlightenment, wisdom and carnal lust Amy other concepts.

In The Satanic Bible, Anton LaVey describes Satan as a motivating and balancing dark force of nature. Satan is also described as being the "Black Flame", representing one's inner personality and desires. Satan is seen as analogous with nature and even, conceptually, with certain concepts of a supreme deity or god.

The core concept of the philosophy is individualism where one must enforce their own meaning on life and rise above the perceived conformity of the masses. He is the equivalent of Nietches übermensch.

I don't fear the dark side but I am starting to become worried.

Why?

THIS IS ONLY ONE ISSUE FROM MANY. Here is one reason: I live across the street from an orphanage for disabled children and adults and I have been noticing one particular young man who walks in a circle and screams at himself while making numerous weird faces. I have spoken to this man numerous times and ask him if he hears voices and he says yes.....many voices. I asked him if he wanted to get rid of these voices and he said NO! He feels comfortable with them. They tell him to hurt the babies and younger children inside the orphanage. He claims he has not done this yet. He has not heard of Jesus. This young man (20 years old) is a German male who has never heard of Jesus.

I work in a deliverance ministry and business is picking up! More and more people standing up and saying they do not have mental or psychological disorder requiring medication but a spiritual issue. Some of these people are quite happy being possessed with evil......so they are locked up from the public.

EDITED LATER: When I attempted to pray for the young man (in my thoughts - not out loud) He immediately hissed and tried to bite me, then he ran off. When he sees me (almost every day) he points at me and hisses and screams something in a different language (not English or German) sounds like Syrian in the Middle East but I am not sure? Now there are three of them pointing at me almost everyday....each one hissing at me.

I believe the public needs to learn more about Satan and his lying ways that what the average person seems to know. And I believe ATS has a few themselves.

So who wants to start?
