Voter fraud isn't really an issue. It's a made up thing. Voter registration fraud actually occurred, but that doesn't equate to actual voter
Oh Really? Keep in mind, I am very open to say the Republican side has plenty of funny business at the polls. There was, famously, the video voting
machine in 2012 which..ahem..glitched for any vote outside a shockingly (rigged) small area to go to Romney. No question..both sides.
However, there is nothing fake, funny, or even mildly tolerable about voter fraud or voter suppression, in my view. I don't know anyone in real life,
Republican or Democrat, who feel significantly different on that matter. I do have some examples I've collected and followed over the years tho, if it
helps demonstrate how two sided the outright corruption of Democrat and Republican parties alike have become.
Mississippi NAACP leader sent to prison
for 10 counts of voter fraud
The NAACP isn't exactly a bastion of Republican thinking or support. I'm guessing which way that went by headline alone.
Madison elections supervisor
among 8 arrested in voting scheme
That story includes some interesting details about absentee ballots. Those things that just kinda scream Fraud-Me!, IMO.
Vote-probe arrests include
That one included a sitting city council president, not just the councilman. Ouch..
12 charged with voter fraud in Georgia election
That one included officials in the registrars office
, to read deeper on it
and across the stories.
Each of those are, not rumor or political Op-Ed guess work, but real cases with real criminal outcomes or pending as of the time the sources wrote
them. Each of them are of the left side of the spectrum. No doubt others can show as many to the right.
That's the point. Both sides are, unfortunately, corrupted by the same thing that history shows corrupts all men. Power, Money and a lack of limits to
Red and Blue, in kind of a purple goo of bad.
