I'm sorry Dave, but I'm afraid I can't do that...

Pretty cool but reminds me of a 21st century version of the magic 8 ball. Either or its a good step forward to start using the tech advancements.

Now if they can program one for math classes I would be all set...

What else is 'it' listening to besides your command to activate?

Looks like SIRI for the house. I don't use SIRI on my phone now. No, thanks.

Information. Messaging. Life Support.
The Ubi gets smarter. Updates are automatically pushed to it and it learns over time.

Resistance is futile.

Reply: (filtered through gov't monitoring system)..."Master I'm afraid that 3 eggs is over your US recommended daily allowance of cholesterol - modifying command to 2 eggs, decaf coffee...thank you for understanding, Master"

SARAH (Self-Actuated Residential Automated Habitat) in the TV series Eureka was very cool. Except for the time she got a virus and tried to kill everyone. What was really funny was how the humans couldn't cope (example: couldn't get the front door open or a glass or water) when she wasn't functioning. SARAH even monitored their vital signs and cooked their food according to what theirs bodies needed for optimal health.

Not the best video but...

As with almost all tech, there are pros and cons to this, as well as the constant risk of abuse/misuse/weaponization.
