Good morning ATS

I am sitting here on this wonderful Sunday morning with what you may call a hangover.

I have a valid reason for my present state, (or not) yesterday was, what is known as, Showdown, which is the game of football between two teams from the state I live in. My day comprised of watching my team get slaughtered while consuming copious amounts of beer.

On topic:
The above link will take you to a book written by Harry Elmer Barnes. I have just stumbled across the work and thought I would share it with you.

I haven't read the book entirely, as my concentration level is diminished at the moment, what I have read so far has sparked an interest, hence my need to share with you.

I hope you find the read entertaining if not enlightening.

As I delve further into the works I will comment, as I hope you do.

Good find.
This one is good, too.
I have it on my bookshelves, but tracked it down online for the sake of this post.
Very detailed about the whole generation's diplomacy.

Fifty years of Europe

Thankyou for sharing, I must say it is cheaper finding a good read online than buying the book.

Alas, today is not a good reading day for me but I will get to the link.
