Here is some 'denial' to think about.

Mother nature herself built in place mechanism's to keep, and maintain 'planetary balance'.

War,Disease,Famines.Inclimate weather, and poverty.

Then came along the social engineers who now have sit their sights on geo engineering.

Can you answer the question I asked you a couple of posts ago?

Nature has nothing to do with war or poverty. Nature sure does have it's cycles, natural warming and cooling... way warmer than now and way colder than now. Nature is also reactive. If you pour an herbicide on a plant, it dies. If you give a plant too much Co2, it dies. If you add heat to a forest, it starts to dry up. If you add water to the ocean, it starts to flood coasts. If you keep pouring water into a full a glass, should it not spill because water is natural and has always been around?

Greenhouse gases have built up in the atmosphere before and caused the planet to warm to much hotter than it is now. Or did that never happen?

Oh like the fascism from the 'affordable' Care Act forcing people to buy that corporate product called health insurance.

Before that it was that other corporate product called auto insurance.

Before that it was that other corporate product called birth control.

The fascist rhetoric on global warming is coming from Corporate America and the Fossil Fuel Barron's, in the form of denial. (Fascism = Corporate controlled government)

Today it's those corporate products called solar panels, and wind turbines.

What question ?

Except the global warming crowd does have one hell of a fascism history.

Yeah it does.

Greenhouse gases have built up in the atmosphere before and caused the planet to warm to much hotter than it is now.

If it has it's because of all of the hot air that comes from the global warming crowd.

They need to stop fear mongering to scare the population in to 'accepting' a greater role of government in their lives.

It's only a matter of time before they regulate the air we breathe, the rain that falls, the sun that shines, all in the name of the new religion of Global-Climate-Change-Warming-Cooling-It-Might-Rain-Later-Or-Not.

Germany already charges people for the rain that falls on their land.

I lived there and the water company calculates your grassy area and measures the rainfall in the area. Then they add that to the water bill. I know, I got the water bill!

Also, I have read that electric companies want to charge people who have solar panels for using the grid, even if the panels generate more electricity than the people use. The electric companies have the nerve to call these electricity generating households, free loaders. This will be a form of charging people for the sun that shines on their roof.

I read an article about a famous environmentalist who wants to now divorce himself from the movement because he said it has become a religion and as a religion environmentalism refuses to accept any scientific fact that goes against their "beliefs".

I believe that environmentalism has become a dangerous religion, as it seeks to control the behavior of others regardless of common sense or scientific fact or advancements.

You guys need to stop fear mongering, we are not armless babies Neo, we are capable of protecting the environment and protecting our liberty. We do not have to accept that we are doomed to pollute ourselves into extinction.

The opposite is also true sir. The anti global warming, globalist elite want to control peoples minds regardless of common sense or science. This way anything goes, these corporate globalists have convinced people that science is not to be trusted. Meanwhile their profits double every couple years thanks to SCIENCE.

You will not like what will come if the AMERICAN conservative corporatists win this battle of ideas.

AKA if science impacts profits, the science must be evil.

Just wait and see what you are wishing for, a whole new world of idiocy will be yours and it is uncontrollable and systemic, enjoy!

Apparently not.

Since the global warming crowd believes in regulation.

And regulation is the antithesis of freedom, also known as liberty.

Because Americans apparently too bloody good to 'breathe' dirty air.

The nerve of some people! How can anyone not like breathing dirty air? It's not like our respiratory health is important.

It's kind of ironic that the guy with the avatar of a gas mask, is taking issue with people who don't want to breath dirty air.

Your disdain for self preservation is the dream of plutocratic assholes who don't see the big picture. You are you're own worst enemy. What good is a job when you're dead from cancer?

I can tell a lot of you are quite young.

The air was MUCH dirtier when I was a child than it is now. We had emissions that stunk from industry and clouded over entire areas.

Los Angeles regularly was so covered in smaug that it was a rare not to have trouble breathing in the 60's and 70's.

There was waste in the water everywhere.

Those of you who think the world is in bad shape now best do some research on what it was really like back in the 60's and 70's.

If you think the truly green days of long long ago were pristine, look at reports of sewage being thrown into the streets regularly, no spetic tanks, just outhouses with seepage into wells. Every house burned wood or coal with no filters and the air was full of visible soot before people began using (oh my god) oil and clean coal. The "good old days" of the 14th and 15th centuries were cesspools of infection and disease for humans and animals because their lifestyle was so "green".

The air today is pristine compared to just 40 years ago, the water too. I know many of you will find this hard to believe, but the world is in pretty good shape now, much much better than before automobiles, and oil and gas using industries.

You madame are exactly the type of fundamentalist environmental religionist I am talking about. Your fervent zeal in your reply and demonizing of those who disagree demonstrates a deeply religious like fervor. This kind of overly controlling zealotry is as dangerous to others as what you are projecting onto others.

This is exactly why Neo is trying to point out the dangers of becoming such an environmentalist that you become a zealot who only sees the world through the filter of ones strongly held beliefs, clinging to them in fear that ones beliefs may be challenged by scientific advancements. That is enviornmental religion. The belief that whatever the commonly held belief the environmental movement espouses, has to be correct and must be defended, despite any rational proof otherwise, and others must be converted to believe as you do or you become unhinged.

That's extraordinarily unlikely as, in terms of greenhouse emissions, the amount that cattle are believed to contribute would not warrant it. There are bigger legislative fish that need frying than burgers. Basically, the action plan by Obama covers the majority of the "known offenders" in terms of greenhouse gas emissions. The reason why they didn't go for regulation or legislation is because the contribution is only 1-3%. Because it is such a small percentage, it'll likely get the same kind of treatment that orphan drugs get to encourage their research and development--tax credits for doing it instead of laws enforcing pharmaceutical companies to make a certain drug for a very small portion of the population. I wouldn't worry too much at this time about it becoming subject to regulation. They are most likely going to do an incentive treatment to "encourage" using alternative measures by providing some offset of cost and the number one way is tax credits. Cattle ranchers have already been hit hard with the droughts and they'd really be fools to press harder because, well, beef is what's for dinner for a lot of Americans. They would not get the political backing to impose regulations on an already beleaguered industry, especially for something so spurious as 1-3% total contribution.

Yeah it manes no 'sense'.

For those who have seem to forget the definition:

lib·er·ty noun \ˈli-bər-tē\
: the state or condition of people who are able to act and speak freely : t
he power to do or choose what you want to : a political right

1
: the quality or state of being free:
a : the power to do as one pleases
b : freedom from physical restraint
c : freedom from arbitrary or despotic control
d : the positive enjoyment of various social, political, or economic rights and privileges
e : the power of choice

liberal (adj.) Look up liberal at Dictionary.com mid-14c., "generous," also, late 14c., "selfless; noble, nobly born; abundant," and, early 15c., in a bad sense "extravagant, unrestrained," from Old French liberal "befitting free men, noble, generous, willing, zealous" (12c.), from Latin liberalis "noble, gracious, munificent, generous," literally "of freedom, pertaining to or befitting a free man," from liber "free, unrestricted, unimpeded; unbridled, unchecked, licentious," from PIE *leudh-ero- (cf. Greek eleutheros "free"), probably originally "belonging to the people" (though the precise semantic development is obscure), and a suffixed form of the base *leudh- "people" (cf. Old Church Slavonic ljudu, Lithuanian liaudis, Old English leod, German Leute "nation, people;" Old High German liut "person, people") but literally "to mount up, to grow.
