Right now the worm is the repetitive little ditty from our local 'talk radio' news guy on NPR.
Over and over and over.

Mornin' all.
Today it is Build Me Up Buttercup again. I heard it on the radio at the grocery store.

Funny how songs from the 60s are now what is played for us "old folks" - at least we don't have to listen to Lawrence Welk and Muzak anymore, though!!

Today: Listen, all!!!

Give A Little Bit!!!!

God, I wish I had seen these guys live. I did get to see Fleetwood Mac last year, though......

ah, the late 70s/early 80s. Anyone know Nick Lowe? Elvis Costello? The Cars? The Tubes? The Kinks? The Gogos? The Stones? Tracy Ullman? Men at Work?

ah.

Good times.

I woke up this morning hearing "HEY!"and having it repeat for a little while.
After thinking about it/replaying it in my head while working I determined it came from this:

Oh wow. Thanks...yeah, that's a GREAT one!!!

I should have included Tom Petty in the question. Awesomeness. I saw them (He and the Heartbreakers) live at Redrocks outside of Denver....

Gonna listen now!!!

Tom Petty is always worth a listen. I heard he's actually launching a new tour sometime soon.

Free Falling. That's our Tom!!!

Wow.
I can't remember now if it was Elvis Costello or Nick Lowe that opened for them....
I think it was Nick Lowe - 'cause I left the amphitheater and actually got not just a HUG from Nick, but a kiss on the cheek!! (And yes, the security people let me back in...)

I was on Cloud Nine for DAYS! Until some d-bag renting a townhouse in our complex (we were year-round residents) asked me if I was a "housekeeper" there......

LOL!!!!!

Running non-stop since I woke up. Funny thing was that I was going to just listen to it in total defeat and this thread popped up at the top of MyATS list, lol.

I've always liked Tom Petty.

Never saw him in concert (your lucky!) but some of his music ranks in my all time favorites.
I love the attitude.
