Nola

In our house growing up we had a player piano - this was my favorite reel to play. It came to mind because yesterday my mom called and said the player piano had stopped working (she's having it repaired)....it was built in 1922.

And I've always loved ragtime!!

Hands down the best cover of this song I've ever heard in my life.

Be prepared to cry your stupid eyes out.

Thanks for that great song.
We really need the rain in Cape Town.
Not really sure what I could offer in return for that tune.

But here's Midnight Oil - Warakurna.

Anyways this plays in my head at least once a day, then I might sing along then someone might hear me, and I have to pretend I was having a fit.

Also, I saw Bruce Springsteen live when that album first came out. At Municipal Hall in Kansas City, Kansas. It was the sexiest show (and guy) I have ever seen.

I will never forget it.
I was 19.
