hey guys... I love this thread -- and no matter what I will always cherish this thread......

You may change your mind after you experience my earworm. I figure skate daily, which lately involves also listening to a pairs team practicing their Christmas number 5-7 times an hour. I give you...

*Ohhhh*

Can't blame you there lol.

A blogger recently described this period as "a psychogenic storm." Sure feels that way eh? It's very wearying indeed. I'm trying to endure it by encouraging people to love each other... as trite and naive as that likely sounds in the face of it all lol.

Failing that... music!

Peace

I've had this song stuck in my head since I woke up this morning, and I have absolutely no idea why... I even caught myself bobbing my head to the guitar riffs rattling around in my brain while I was in the kitchen peeling potatoes.

I'm sorry.

I love those thick, bellowing harmonies they had, though! Really powerful and moving.

Here's this. I can't feel anything but joy when you combine SRV and Hendrix:

Peace.

Johnny Preston - Running Bear.

Perhaps a tad dated nowadays that everything must be politically correct and culturally appropriate.

However, one of the simplest songs of love that may not be unrequited, but in this life-time the dividing "river" is simply too wide.

Well, this "Running Bear" thinks of his little "White Dove" and this song a lot.

BUMP

During the "How'd you get to be king, then?" bit....where he explains the Excalibur held aloft and Lady of the Lake nonsense....and downscreen there are the two filth collectors piling up mud/crap just visually below his torso.....

just an artistic aside.
