Of course it matters! What is your theory?

Okay. Well. Not making any suppositions about Richard Butler's sexuality, more of a bromance thing. (After all, he has been married and has a daughter). I always thought that the song was about Bowie.

Really like Butler and the rest of the Furs. They were a major influence on my own music and I'm sure that of others.

Today NPR said they found an adorable purple squid......little guy on the bottom of the deep-ocean canyon.....

Reminds me of this other little cutie from not that long ago (a sea slug):

And before that......(an octopus):

so - here's to those guys!!!

Sharks can live for 400 years or better.
I saw a tree in Rocky Mountain National Park that was probably 4,000 years old.....

It's a peaceful, balmy Sunday afternoon, with mild tropical breezes, palm trees waving gently, sea is deep blue azure, so of course, this is wandering in my head today*.

*there's no accounting for taste.

You want to watch Reservoir Dogs again? I know I do, and that's a catchy tune ;o)

This has been stuck in my head today, so I had to find it on my itunes and burn a track and play it all day whilst I drove around. Black-eyed Peas with Macy Gray "Request Line".

First, I stumbled onto this:

Which led to this:

So I had to watch the original:

And found this little gem:

This is going on tonight's jukebox playlist right between Barbie Girl and Too Sexy.

Hahahaaa!!! I love when a bunch of songs lead to a bunch of other songs and then sometimes you want to hear a whole CD or watch the movie that used the songs....

one of the things I love about music is how we kind of each live our lives with a private "playlist". It's so fun to share when someone likes a song in common.

Some great ones there, and above as well.
For some reason right now the "King of the Hill" theme is racing around in circles ????? WTH did that come from?

And then......

Especially the second one.....
AWESOME chorus and strings, fun song. VERY fun movie. Nacho Libre.

I don't know where that King of the Hill thing came from, but Hank Hill is da man I tell ya wut.

Speaking of movies, that Shaggy song reminds me of this segment from A Guide for the Married Man:

I haven't seen Nacho Libre yet. I'll have to check it out if you recommend it.

Oh, I highly recommend it if you like Jack Black's movies....School of Rock, Tenacious D, Year One,

Nacho Libre is (in my opinion) his best. Just for the fun......but if you don't get humor like his, you'd not like it.....

Think in terms of Will Ferrell movies, or "Bad Santa"....that sort of SNL or MadTV humor.
