Okay, I'm back to this one. Much better than the one that I had for the last two nights - which thankfully I don't remember right now. It's a TV ad - oh well.....

So, I wondered if any of you wake up with a tune stuck in your head, and if so - what is it today?

Today it is a song I've only heard on a commercial. It goes something like "Wake the sun - wake the sun - dream of things yet to come?- then something about telling the birds and trees something? Cant remember exactly but it is highly infectious.

Wednesday is South Park day. It's on all afternoon and then it's on again from 8pm onwards. I'm a big South Park fan so I watch it every Wednesday.

I woke up with this song in my head -

It wouldn't be so bad if I spoke German, but this was playing in my head as I woke up this morning:

This song has been stuck in my head, and rattling around because I gotta dance to the beat, for the past two days.

Hi all -
I heard a story on the radio yesterday about the song Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. Did you know it was back in 1984 that he presented it to the studios, and no one noticed any merit to it at all - but NOW, it's had over 60 renditions 'ranked

Newsweek has ranked the top 60 versions of Leonard Cohen’s famous song “Hallelujah,” which he performed for the first time 30 years ago, on Jan 31, 1985.

At that time the song didn’t get much of a reception, but today there are hundreds, perhaps thousands of versions, and on YouTube the song has millions of views.

Link to the story from Here & Now

Here's the version of the 10 or so I've listened to this morning that I really like - sung by an 8-year old in 2011:

But then I watched this one. k d lang live at the Juno Awards in 2013

I just finished bingewatching the entire Parks & Recreation series.
I never watched it when it was weekly.

So - here is my Earworm today (it brings tears to my eyes - I will love this song ForEvEr). This show made me laugh, made me cry, became a part of me:

Great songs, BW! 5000 candles is so sweet and true and heartbreaking.

Here's one that has been stuck in my head since I watched Reese Witherspoon in "Wild". El Condor Pasa, a simple Andean song that just loves to stay in your head.

First saw them on Later with Jools Holland then watched about twenty different videos of the same song. It makes me smile.

Nah, not really. Have a look around. Many of them are very recent.....
some are classics.

(guess you already lost interest - but, yeah - to anyone else - it's got some good tunes in it.....
and how many of us have Earworms from our childhoods? LOTS of us.)
